Twilight Sparkle Fan Club

Twilight is my favorite character out of the Mane 6 currently. We have seen her grow from a friendless student envolved completely in her studies to a princess of friendship, helping those in need. Her character development is outstanding, tying the show all together into the amazing piece of work that it is. 

Equestria girls also showed us another side of Twilight - Sci-Twi. EG Twilight is insecure, unsure, but trusting in her new friends. The song The Midnight In Me made me love Twilight as a character even more. 

Twi is life. Accept it.

I think Sci-Twi is a more "natural" Twi - Twilight's development in Ponyville was more forced, and she is too introverted to make a good leader - but Celestia (and/or the Tree of Harmony) have pushed her down that path, and she is determined to do a good job of it. 

In contrast to Moon Dancer, whose reaction to a setback was to withdraw into herself, Sci-Twi chose to move to where she could interact more with the Wondercolts, something not even Twilight herself can say (Twilight, having gained control over the Elements of Harmony with the determined assistance of the remaining mane ponies, did little more than express her regret at having to leave them; it was Celestia who pretty much ordered her into remaining in Ponyville)

Have to wonder how things would have turned out in Equestria had Sunset Shimmer's past been different - Sci-Twi is a good fit to the Wondercolt team, increasingly so as she puts the Midnight incident behind her, but Sunset is rapidly establishing herself as the reluctant leader of the group, leaving Sci-Twi to be her adorkable self

So true. Although Twilight will always be the first Twilight we knew, Sci-Twi is more... human. Makes sense, since she is.
