I think everyone here'd enjoy a few strokes ... [to or from] our lovely country pony, hehe

Of course. Any straight male in their right mind would. :comeatus:

Here's a good'n.  Even got herself a wrench, too.

I'd let her adjust my compression ratio any day...

I love that style of art.  Kudos to kmrShy on DeviantArt for that'n  :smug: .

Good art style is good.

*Sigh* I would take this and mingle it into a gearhead joke.

And her favorite is the... Powerstroke... hahaha; oh silly me, and my vehicular knowledge.

Even though I don't drive a Powerstroke, lol; my truck's a gasser - it's the 5.4L Triton V8.

And if you really cared to know; there are actually 4 strokes in an internal combustion engine - intake, compression, explosion (ignition), and exhaust... Lol... this is for y'all gearheads like me out there.  The more you know - heheheh...

Lol, vehicle jokes aside...

Adorable picture.

This does get me thinking though... do freckles go away? As far as I know, they don't.

I just find it strange Applejack has a lot more freckles when she's younger, then doesn't when she's older. But hey, it's cute, so I'm not complaining.

I bought a crystal pony Pinkiepie, I would have gotten AJ but she wasn't there... And I also bought 2 30 pack sticker packs, some super cute AJ stickers in there! I will try and post them soon! Also, I have started a thing where I make a new pony once a month, where I have him designed, and a little summary of what he is all about! I have finished one so far... I will post some when i get to about 5!

Oh, alright. Good, so I guess it does make sense then.

"Case closed!" Now we ALL know  :D

Whaaaaat?  No no no... Case /not/ closed.

Freckles do not always go away.  Actually, childhood freckles only "go away" because they tend to fade as you grow older.  BUT at the same time, new freckles grow, usually.  In my case, that is very true.  I have some "faded" childhood freckles, but I have grown new freckles, ironically, not in the same place (not on my face, that is).  The new ones were caused by sun damage, mostly.  But some just naturally grew.

---

Coming from a true country boy, no doubt.  I've been working outside since I was a little tike.  But those young days were nothing compared to the past 5 summers I worked.  Lmao.

For the past 5 summers, I've worked for my city.  First summer was on the "Water Department" and the latter 4 on the "Street Department" - in essence, there really wasn't much difference besides that my first summer was the easiest, because on the Water Dept.  I mostly just helped water flowers 'round town, and also helped with pouring new sidewalks, but still did some of the same work the Street Dept. does.  Those last 4 summers though, dang... Talk about endurance.  I mean, like, hardcore-to-the-*apples*-core hardcore.

How so?  Well, lemme tell yuh... You see those potholes in the roads that you try to avoid, yeah?  Well, you see, because we're a small town, we try to keep our roads as smooth as we can.  And our winter's are just as cold as our summers are hot - we've seen -17*F windchills in the winter, which is what actually causes the potholes, you see; ice gets in the cracks and expands... and then in the summer time, we've seen heat indexes of around 110*F.  Well anywho, about those potholes, heh... Yeah, on the Street Dept., we patch those with asphalt patch, and then roll them smooth.

Just think.  Just think for a moment.  About this: our "ton-truck" (which actually is a 3/4 ton truck, since it's an F-350, but it has a Koenig dump-bed, so that we can load the asphalt into to)... it can hold about 4 tons (if not more) - yes, tons ... of asphalt patch per load.  And I, a city worker, along with my friend/co-worker, would shovel the patch out of the truck into the holes, one shovel at a time; and our supervisor would rake it out... then we'd have to roll it with the roller (a small one, but still, it's got those heavy metal roller wheels).

We patched all summer, basically.  Well, provided weather permitting, and if nothing else needed doing with a higher priority (like mowing, weed-eating... or picking up fallen limbs after storms [sometimes so big we'd have to chainsaw it in pieces to get them to fit in the bed of the truck - and holy shnikes, those suckers were heavy)...  But yeah, we patched the roads, one shovel at a time.  Each day probably getting a good 3 truck loads down.  So, take the lesser-minimum 4 tons... times 3.  That's 12 tons per day.  We worked for ~2+ months.  So, 5 weekdays - 4 weeks per month approximately (less the odd days)...

12 tons a day x 5 days =  60 tons per week.
Say, maybe 12 weeks of working... so 12 times 60 = 720.
So, approximately (to round to a nicer number, and to compensate the off chance we did 4 loads a day a couple times instead of 3)... let's say that it's 725 tons per summer.

4 Summers of patching (not including any patching I may have partook whilst on the Water Dept. my first summer)... So, 4 summers, then... times 725 tons per one summer... Is 2900 tons.

I guess, if you wanted to round up from 2900 to 3000 for the sake of it, and for the fact that we did sometimes put down 4 loads and not 3...

Approximately 3000 tons.  Of asphalt patch.  Shoveled out of the back of the pickup, one... shovel... at... a... time.  In the heat of Illinois' summer, ranging from some slightly chilly mornings around 55*F to some hardcore afternoon heat indexes over 100*F...

You could say that... endurance... does not even begin to describe how much it took to be a city worker.

Eeyup.  If you ever doubted me (which, I'd hope not, and I never did think you did)... 'Least now you know... I am one tough country-boy.  I may not lift weights.  But, after shoveling around 3000 tons of patch over the past several summers... Who needs weights.

All natural.  Pure country.  Damn tough.  I don't get knocked down; and even though since I'm a sensitive guy and I know I wouldn't knock anyone down without a darn-good reason; if it came down to it... Even though I'm 6 foot and 170 pounds... This bull's will is not to be reckoned with.

But again.  I wouldn't.  So don't think of me mean.  I'm very loving and caring.  It's just that I've been through alot and... well... yeah - alot.  Heh.

So yeah, freckles... lol.  The sun will do that, even sporting SPF 50+ sunscreen.

---

I must apologize, for, usually I'm humble despite my honesty.  But, I was a bit blunt there.  Sorry folks.  Y'all know I love yuhs!

---

Oh yeah, guess I should probably post something with AJ, lol:
