Has more to do with the fact that i had pretty intense battles with Rarity arch-haters on that site. One day i just said: "screw that noise", and i avoid that site since then. Does not help im positive that that site and it's users somehow have a liking for character bashing.

Nah, seriously. The shades just fade into a dimension of chaos and evil for a moment to allow them to pass through the horn. It's the dimension MLP-haters go when they die. Pretty dangerous stuff, but it's worth it! Look at that sweet hat!

Look, i did not make the rules, and neither did Rarity, it's just that this dimension exists, and if it exists, why not use it for something good?

 

And it's worth it!... It's a pretty sweet hat after all!

 

...Well, if the fabric of that hat would wind up somehow damaged, the spirits of the haters would break free and bring death and destruction to the multiverse... But it's such a sweet hat...
