This one holds a special place in my heart, though, because I hate Trenderhoof with the fiery passion of an infinite amount of suns and I find pleasure in seeing him unhappy

Why does everyone hate that poor stallion? He's a moron, sure, but I don't hate the guy, Blueblood on the other hand can just cease to exist.

I have never understood the Trenderhoof hate either.

I find Trenderhoof thing interesting, and I'm with Ghosty here, I hate him because he's a poorly written bad character, like everything in MLP has potential, he HAD potential but it was wasted.

At least we all have a reason to hate Prince Blueblood and he fitted the jackass role very well, he was a good written antagonist to be fair.

 

The thing is, when you blame writting instead of how the character behaves, then shit goes wrong. I absolutelly say that Trenderhoof is the worst guest character i've ever seen, even more than Prince Blublood.

Two questions:

1) does this thread have more contributors than the others, or simply more dedicated contributors?

 

and 2) what was everyone's opinion on Simple Ways? Did you like it? Why or why not?

 

Also, I believe once I get my phone fixed I can begin my big Rarity analysis.

If anyone has input on that, I would love to hear it/

1) as Ghostie said, a little of both.

 

2) personally I thought it was comic gold. Trenderhoof was not a well written character, but the final act between RariHick and Apple Jewel made up for it.
