Rarity is doing really well against Derpy Derpy often times does as well as the mane 6, and we've got a large lead on her for her level of popularity  

 

I'm on mobile and won't be able to provide much support at the moment, unfortunately, but I'll start spamming Rarity pictures as soon as I get home

SHE LOOKS SO PWETTY LIKE THAT!

Your opinion on Simple Ways as a episode may wary, but what it did was to prove that Rares is a true natural beauty (Not there was ever any real doubt about that).

People called her artifical, claimed even that she was only gorgeous because of her high maintenance. Made comics that portrayed her as hideous without her makeup.

 

Season four, dispelling prejudice about Rarity indeed.
