Gosh, I wanna reply to like all the stuff that's happened but it's been PAGES.  I feel like way way back when SomethingAwful allowed Friendship is Magic talk (for the first, like, 3-4 months it existed) and it was all ONE HUGE THREAD given the nature of the site, so I'd go to sleep, wake up and there'd be like 20 new pages.  It was completely insane.. this is the first I've experienced anything like that since then, but holy cow, this is just ONE THREAD about ONE PONY.  Oh how far this fandom has come.

 

I wanted to at least agree that French Rarity with Socks™ is a wonderful, wonderful thing.  I wanted to find more but searching derpibooru for "Rarity, Beret, Socks" (at least when not signed in so I'm not gonna see anything too lewd...) yields only two results, the one posted and the Rarity version of shepherd0821's classic Pony Anthro Meter series:

 

 

 

 

And would ya look at that, the beret and the socks aren't even on the same Rarity!  What a gyp!  I want my money back!

 

Seriously though, "French" Rarity or "Beatnik" Rarity or "Whatever you wanna call the Rarity from Sweet and Elite" is amazing and needs more art.  I should draw something of her, even if I'm not that great yet.  

Nnnngh though, I'm in such a Beret Rarity mood now...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Might I also add at the end here how much I love this thread already?  I'm supposed to be a Pinkie Pie guy but I can't even pull myself away from this thread long enough to head over there and say hello.  You guys are fun and I like you.

And I like rarity.  Probably too much.  Like everyone here.  

Nope, no matter how much love you give Rarity, it's always just the right amount! Unless it's too little... there are minimum acceptable levels of Rarity love, but no max!

I've given her a lot of silly nicknames (my most original one being Princess Marshmallow Jewelbutt ) but the one I use the most is Rarebear, but Destiny came up with that one

 

Have any of you give her a special nickname?

All glory to the Queen! Kinda gets me wondering why the other FCs have so few posts. Did they formerly have more? I'm new.

Well, one day Ghostie joined the club... saw that there had been no new posts here for a long while... and he gave the rest of us a short, sharp kick to the buttocks and said, "Get posting!" And now, here we are, 500 pages!

Credit where it's due, this is mainly Ghostie's victory, although of course, all the members of the fan club can partake in it... and Obsy, you deserve as much credit as anyone else who is not Ghostie (who deserves more), so please, no more of this "I'm so terrible" business. We love ya, Rarity loves ya, what more do you need?

Rarity decided that big ears are the rage this season. You can use them as umbrella for example. Or you can use them to wrap youself into them like a giant fuzzy adorable ball of cuddle snuggle...

 

Im sure you guys also would want to be wrapped in these fuzzy cuddly snuggle ears too...

As far as terms of endearment, not counting all the Biblical ones I did, I just call her Rarity, Rares, and when I see Sweet and Elite Rarity ... La Rares (or would that be Le Rares). I actually guess Le Rares sounds cute.

I'm good now I actually started a new position at my store yesterday and now I have a set schedule and all of my shifts start within 2 hours of each other! Before I could have as much as 10 hours difference in start time in a single week; it will be fabulous!

I know Tomiix was never really active (I think he has two days logged online?) but this used to be a smaller community - much smaller and more tightly knit as a whole. A lot of the older members preferred that kind of community and when MLPF grew, they didn't like it and ended up moving over to a splinter forums called World of Equestria. I'm actually a member there as well, and I'm fairly active Great little community where everyone is friendly, but not much in terms of discussion
