We all know that Rarity's design is simply... well... saying anything different than "fabulous" would probably be considered as crime. I mean, just look at her. Those diamond-shaped eyes in wonderful deep blue colors, simply stunning man- I DIGRESS.

What I mean by writing this is that I want ask a certain question. Literally:

 

What part of her design do YOU love the most?

 

Of course, I do know that you'd all say personality and stuff, but I've meant the appearance in this one. And let's say that her outfits are counted as possible answer to this question as well

 

And to give you a start, I'll say: I ABSOLUTELY ADORE HER EYESHADOW. It's just that little thing that makes her character complete to me. Without it, she'd be... ...hollow D:

Apart from personality and stuff, which is what i truly love about her, her design is something that was always close to my heart. The sole reason im in the brony fandom today is that i saw a picture of Rarity in late season one. And i asked myself, who is that beautiful, elegant creature? So Raritys gorgeous design kinda sparked my interest in pwnies...

 

What do i like the most of her flawless form? Hmmmm...

 

I love her almond shaped sapphire eyes. Eyes of that shape are a rarity (huehuehue) in Equestria, as far as i know, only the spa-ponies share the same eyes. These eyes are surely a sign of exceptional beauty.

 

I also love her colours! Her dark purple mane and platinum coat are a contrast that i really like, even in real life woman. In real life i prefer either very, very dark skin and dark hair, or very, very fair skin and dark hair. Rares kinda falls into latter category.

 

Her blue eyes and butt-diamonds also compliment her coat and mane very nice. Blue, purple and white? Great colour composition!

 

And like you said, her makeup makes her special too! Her eyeshadow is blue, like her eyes and her cutie mark, colour composition again! It also shows that even though Rarity does not need makeup to look gorgeous, that she is still very considered to make herself look absolutely perfect! She is a true natural beauty, but she still is too much of an perfectionist to let the opportunity slip to make herself even more a piece of art she already naturally is!

 

Another very important part of her looks are her facial expressions. I think they are a big part of her beauty. I doubt that there is another pony that comes even close to the amount of pure sexy expressions Rares displays...

 

What i love the most though is her mane. Her long, gorgeous, luxurious curls. The way the coils of her coiffure move when she displays her wide range of expressions... It shows what Rarity is all about... her hair is a piece of art, like the art she creates and the piece of art she is. The great care she has to show to get her hair in shape each day, the same care she shows when creating her newest outfit for her friends.

Rarity is all about care, detail, passion. And imho her perfect mane embodies that.

The colour gradient that is used in her hair-style shows it the best. No other pony has a gradient in its mane, as far as i remember, please correct me if im wrong. It is something not only really beautiful, but truly unique to Rarity, fitting, as she is something truly unique.

 

Her mane shows what she truly is. Beautiful, luxurious, artistic, unique, passionate, perfectionistic, flawless... And a true Rarity.

 

Rarity never has a bad hair day... She only has gorgeous, sexy hair days!

Oh, easy Her eyeshadow.

 

 

Her mane is so perfectly coiffed, befitting of a paragon of beauty such as herself - pure beauty  Her coat is a glistening shade of Pearl, and dear god, does it look good. Her butt diamonds are 3 diamonds you can't place a price on, and those entrancing blue eyes pull you into her snare once you gaze into them - and it's a snare you don't want to escape.

 

But her eyeshadow has always been my favorite Why?

 

It's so her. It's chic, unique, and magnifique It really brings out those deep blue eyes, as well as being the perfect shade to go with her coat color and mane She's also one of the few ponies to wear eyeshadow, with Luna and the Spa Twins, Aloe and Lotus, being the only other ones by my count  

 

Even still, those ponies don't make it look as drop dead gorgeous as Rarity does She really makes it hers, and it's without a doubt my favorite part of her character design because of how it brings out her obvious outer beauty as well as her fits her personality so well

 

Eyeshadow for the win!!!
