What do you do for a living?

I work as a cart pusher at a Tops store not too far from where I live. It can be stressful at times (especially when it's pouring rain or bitter cold) but it can also be very rewarding, especially when customers thank me for helping them or telling them to have a nice day.

Lol nothing. I'm only 14 (Although I'm turning 15 in 3 months), so there's nowhere around that hires 14 year-olds. Right now, the only thing I can do to get money is either mow lawns, which isn't really an option right now, or shovel snow. I'm hoping to eventually get a part-time job sometime this year, if I'm not to lazy.

Well, I was recently working for McDonalds as a crew member. Due to relationship issues, I will be heading back home to Texas to where I will be working with the family company again. I'm an apprentice electrician, training under my father. I'm also trying to get into college for electrical engineering. If not that, I either want to turn my hobby of music into a dream come true. If not that... I'll doodle the worlds most impressive stick figure and make millions... > w>

Currently, Wal Mart.  The past two years have not been kind to me so I took this year and emptied my retirement account, moved, bought a new (to me) car, and I'm just working to get back on my feet.  I remember being so nervous when I went in for my first few days.  I was so nervous.  But after realizing that the Army had sufficiently prepared me for everything, I got over it and relaxed pretty quick.

 

College is...  Well, it's something I don't want to do but will probably end up doing.  So that's coming along as well.

I'm still in school, but during my need of money, I'm always looking for possible part-time jobs. For now, I don't have any part-time job...

But I'm thinking about making pony plushies and art commissions, because it is sure more enjoyable than handing out the flyers or tidying.

I used to work in the military, but my term of service has ended. Now I'm taking a breather before doing some work at an IT firm. Ah how I wish I were in school again so I wouldn't have to worry about money..

Every once in a blue lagoon I'll go and work at my dad's shop (cleaning and various other jobs (it's a huge mess there (he welds and does repairs))), but not very often; especially since it's winter now. I'm gonna have to start back up soon, though. Gotta get some Wii U games once they come out.

I eat broken glass with rusted nails while a strapping a car battery to my you know what. Okay so I don't so THAT but alot of days today being one of them it sure feels that way. Seriously though I am a dairy clerk and a backup checker at a grocery store, I won't say what store because I tend to say a lot of not so flattering things about them in my blog posts so I have to do that to cover my ass. Currently I am working on my plan to get the hell out of there before I either get canned because I blow up, make a few too many mistakes in the checkstands or drop dead of a heart attack. To make a long story short I am trying to become a professional author and I think I have a good chance of doing that.

 

As an individual with Autism I have done some public speaking at conferences on the subject and those speeches have been fairly popular so I am going to start by writing about that and then ease into some other subjects once I have my foot in the door. If this plan works I will help myself and individuals and families with affected by Autism so it sounds pretty win win to me.

I'm in my first year of University (what you 'muricans call college) studying Computer Science, the only thing i do that makes me money is YouTube videos, so i guess that is what i do for a living

Well, I'm only 14 and still in school, I guess I depend on my parents.

I doubt there are that many jobs for students around my age.  

Even if I CAN find one, I wouldn't get paid that much.

I'm also really lazy when it comes to filling out applications or résumés.

I'm currently unemployed, and it really sucks. Nobody's hiring me despite the millions of applications I send in, blah blah blah the market's awful right now.

 

That being said, right now according to the employers I am planned to start teaching English in China but uh, they told me that unless I am able to get a passport soon they're gonna get someone else which sucks because I don't have enough money for a soda right now.

I actually work at a daycare.. in a gym. I work roughly 3 hours 3 days a week and 2 hours 1 day a week. It's not a lot, but I've dealt with over 25 kids in a 3 hour period (19 at once) all by myself.

I mostly sit around in a funny-looking chair.  I listen to the radio.  I wiggle my toes, talk shit to my buddy and watch for birds.  It pays pretty well, so I don't mind the eccentricities.
