MelancholicMemory 2,025 March 11, 2013 Share March 11, 2013 (edited) I come from the absolutely worst corner of the magical land of 'MURICA but I think we have a pretty good representation of different nationalities here on the forums, although there are a lot of Americans and Canadians. Kitsuneirou 21 March 11, 2013 Share March 11, 2013 Well, I saw a census (Can't remember what it was called, sorry :/) and it showed most bronies being american, with canadians being second. I know that there are many bronies in the UK and in germany too, so there's that. SailorCardKnight 85 March 11, 2013 Share March 11, 2013 Yeah, I think its safe to say that most bronys are from English speaking nations, especially the US. But more and more have been steadily popping up in other parts of the world. 1 Want to start a webcomic, looking for an artist, details here! Zygen 6,066 March 11, 2013 Share March 11, 2013 (edited) I imagine the majority are from America, just because idk everything for the most part seems to have the majority in America, and Canada being the place where MLP is made sounds like a good popular second place, but theres bronies everywhere really, anywhere people are able to access a computer basically theres bronies. We're basically a worldwide fandom more or less. Oh me personally, I'm American . Edited March 11, 2013 by Zygen Thanks to Gone Airbourne for the awesome sig! Harmonic Revelations 8,835 March 11, 2013 Share March 11, 2013 We have a nice variety of people here, but since this IS an English speaking forum, and the original show is in English, the majority come from English speaking nations.
Abstract 832 March 11, 2013 Share March 11, 2013 I would imagine the U.S.A is number one, followed by Canada, then the U.K. Couldn't really tell you why, the show just seems to have caught fire in popularity in these nations. 1 "Let the steel of my resolve be not bested by the sum of my fears." Dautt 77 March 11, 2013 Share March 11, 2013 I'm from the city of Reykjavík where the sun only shines during the summer and large cars are owned by many. But I wouldn't be surprised if most bronies are from N-America.
Fluttershyfan94 5,742 March 11, 2013 Share March 11, 2013 I'm from the far away country called Iceland, it's a big island in the middle of the atlantic ocean for those of you that don't know. It's pretty awesome actually. Obviously most of the bronies are in the U.S. simply because of the hub. It will get more active around the globe, it's all about being exposed to the show. Having the show mostly aired on the hub makes it difficult to expose non-american people. But thanks to the internet and especially youtube, it has managed to spread around the globe. Not everyone participates in the online part of it though, some just like the show and leave it at that. I'm from the city of Reykjavík where the sun only shines during the summer and large cars are owned by many. But I wouldn't be surprised if most bronies are from N-America. Ok, two Icelanders at this topic. 1 DA: http://fluttershyfan94.deviantart.com/ Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/user/Fluttershyfan94

Broccoli 127 March 11, 2013 Share March 11, 2013 I'm a brony from Taiwan, a island nation where English isn't a very commonly spoken language. Because of this, I thought that bronies in Taiwan weren't really possible, unless their international bronies like me. However if you take a look at this nightly roundup from Equestriadaily: http://www.equestriadaily.com/2013/03/nightly-roundup-605.html And theirs a pic of a news article featuring bronies from Taiwan! I guess I'm not alone after all. 2 -"My little pony, not yours!"

Adente 1,000 March 11, 2013 Share March 11, 2013 I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say the majority of bronies are American. I'm from the Seattle area, and it seems the country with the most bronies is America, followed by England.
I am Lunar Fire 198 March 11, 2013 Share March 11, 2013 Of course you people are saying that most bronies are english-speaking from an english-speaking forum is biasing the results a little. I am the first one on this thread to say that english is not my first language, that would be french. There are a lot of french-speaking bronies I know from francophone bronies communities, si there isn't a shortage of them.I think the number of english vs other languages bronies is proportional to the english vs other languages speakers, and since there are more english-speaking folks in this part of the world, there ought to be more english-speaking bronies. 1 Sig by Kyoshi ~ Request your own Member of the Pony Navel Revolution

Apocalyptic_Unicorn 240 March 11, 2013 Share March 11, 2013 I guess there are generally more Bronies from English speaking, socially tolerant countries.I did read somewhere that the US has the most, followed by either the UK, or Canada.
Winterbass 763 March 11, 2013 Share March 11, 2013 (edited) I'mma from Russia, although the part where I was born is now part of Kazakhstan and I've both lived there when it was Russia and Kazakhstan so there's always a lot of confusion there for some reason. But I've also lived in Germany and I now live in Holland. I think most of the bronies will be from the US just because it's where MLP was made. Not to mention up until now the US is one of the most modern countries in the world, meaning that most of the internet users are from the US themselves.
