Discord is by far,my favorite MLP villain. I like how he was able to be reformed because now we get to see more of him in the show. His friendship with Fluttershy is adorable. And I really like the song Discord.

But I hear you saying, "Discord is maybe as powerfull as Sunbutt, but he is older, shouldn't he die already or in near future? And what about Luna? She is certanly less powerfull then the great and powerfull Sun princess." My thoughts on that are: by imprisonning them in stone/moon, their aging prosses was slown down and they are basicly the same age that they were imprisonned. So it may all along was a super cleverly elaborated plan that your precious allmighty sun princess came up with when she saw a royal wrincle on her royal face one morning or a royaly gray hair in her mane. Didn't you asked yourself why she dyes her mane in rainbows when she have beautiful pink mane? Cause she is old and its gray now! So do you like this theory more? Maybe she is not as evil as I said before, but if she do imprisoned Discord and Luna in order to "save them for later protection of equestria" and increased Twilight's lifespan by making from her a powerfull Alicorn, then she is using the principe "sacrifice some to save millions" and that makes her evil in my eyes regardless of the cause. She is no better than the overseer for fallout 3! The point is, I dislike her and nobody can convince me otherwise.

I don't need to talk down about other characters and concepts in order to make the ones I love look better.

And I don't see it being done in the other fan clubs I've visited.

Im the servant of the greatest villan ever, who is playing jokes and tricks on others to have fun and to make them rage. He is the Troll king. What did you expect from me?  For me, he is not evil and I will always think that way. By the way, I never said I like Trixie, I made a parody on her cause it seemed to me that you like Celestia very much so it was my duty to exploit it to make fun of her. I have my version of my story and I stick with it. If for others Celestia is good, I'm not against it, I appreciate the diversity. But I will protect my point of view and my theories if someone questions them. I wont spill dirt on someone, like Shining Armor for example just for the sake of making Discord seem better, just for my version it is essential for Celestia being evil. You say that I talk down about other characters, but Celestia is the only one I used for the reasons I told in the last sentence. If my vision on the story don't please you, I cann not help and I am totaly ok with it, but you can't come to me and try proving me wrong. I dont impose my version to others, so dont impose yours to me. For me, being fan of Discord means acting in a way to ressemble him, and that I achieve by being illogical, random, trolling people and saying how awsome and not evil Discord is. It is like arguing with a child because it is funny when he is angry. Having this discussion with you over Celestia's evilness was very fun and entertaining but I can not help if your humour is different from mine, or you taking it too seriously.

Im a monster without a heart, I cant feel love and I dont like people. Morale arguments dont work on me. I am the type of person who want to see the world burn in chaos!

I can only advise not to take my comments seriously and try to convince me of something.

I WILL use every opportunity to create a very entertaining debate over why Celestia dyes her hair or does Twilight wear contact lenses.

I really dislike this whole "hurt/offend/harass other human beings for the luls" culture we've got going on lately.

It just seems so unnecessarily spiteful and unwelcoming.

Well, you shouldn't feel neither sad or unwelcome. I'm sure it is all right and we all can be friends! It is simple, just post me a "stop, you've gone to far" and I will stop. It happens to me quite often when I'm too exited. Just keep in mind that if I somehow offended you, I didn't mean to and either I was just messing around or just as english isn't my first language, I do sometimes confuse words together and shuffle them up.

I don't like ANY characters treated like dirt, even the lack luster ones. It's just tacky and counter-productive. And treating your headcanons as fact is a good way to shut down conversation and shut out potential friends.

 

I love Discord and have spent more time theorizing and analyzing him than I have probably any other facet of the show (except MAYBE Celestia and Luna's childhoods). But if I gotta sit though having Tia or other characters being demonized unfairly and their fans mocked and shut, I'm not really going to feel comfortable. I haven't seen that in any other fan club but here, so that really unfortunate.

I never treated Celestia like dirt! I have a different poin of view, that's all. For villans, the good guys are bad. If I said Celestia is evil for me, it doesnt mean that I hate her or something. Villans and bad guys can be great. Discord, Darth Vader, Lord Voldemort, Master (from Doctor Who). They are all evil but we like them. So Celestia is the enemy of Discord, and as Im on his side, it is obvious why I say so. I just try to see the story from Discord's point of view.

It is a very common problem due to the fact that we can write words, but the intonation and the meaning we put in them can not be transcripted with them. This is the problem of all text messages.

It always sounds better in your head, but when you reread it in a week, you think:"Why in the hell did I wrote it?"

Except that Discord is not a villain (any more), Celestia saw enough potential for good in him to have him released, he's given her flowers, she's invited him to a huge party... They're not enemies anymore. There's potential for them to annoy each other MAYBE, but that's it. Hell, Pinkie Pie annoys Twilight, doesn't make them enemies.

Then there's me whom views chaos not as evil or good but as a neutrality. Chaos is inherent in everything. The very idea of life itself is chaotic. Order is a creation of those that don't understand the true chaotic nature of the world. If I were to flip a coin what would happen? Any way you answer would be simultaneously correct and incorrect. Luck is an embodiment of chaos in and of itself. So in conclusion there is no order only varying degrees of chaos. Yes I'm aware what I was saying (or rather typing) makes no sense but that's the point. After all... What fun is there in making sense?

I still don't think that he can be reformed so quickly. And I didn't see when Celestia had time to see good in him, since the only time they spoke to each other, is in the scene where he spoke the riddle leading the mane 6 in the labirinth. Of course it is just a cartoon and Im overthinkikg it but still, I have that feeling that something is not right. I tend to think that he is just cooperating because it is this or stone statue. Not much choice. Reminds me of Alucard from the Greatest anime "Hellsing Ultimate". Alucard is bad and evil but got defeatd by forces of good and must obey them from now on, so he is doing good deeds, purging the earth from evil, but he is sill bad inside, just forced to do good. It seems very likely that it is what happend with Discord as well. Im not saying Celestia threatened him but just he is aware of the possible petrification if he is not collaborating and it is more of an undirect pressure.

True is, the Good and Evil do not exist. It is only a matter of relativity. Giving someone a candy is good and shooting someone is bad, but if we change the case, shooting someone who is going to detonate a bomb to stop him is good and giving him a candy isn't the best choice. The Chaos and the order, the good and the evil will exist for ever, some things are just more evil than others, and some are more chaotic than others. Discord is there to bring balance to the world who is filled with friendship and order. He is on the opposite side of the scales and is essential at keeping the universe to balance 

The one thing I hate is when I post something and like in an hour I post something else and no one posted before, my new comment get merged with the previous into one big comment. I do not like that. It is awful.

You can't realy compare Pinkie annoying Twilight to Discord and Celestia.Discord is doing it on purpose and it's more like a teasing while Pinkie is just sometimes annoying by her nature (In fact she creeps me out. After reading cupcakes you can't ever again consider her normaly)

Discord is kinda the reason I started watching Friendship is Magic.   I was babysitting a friend's kid when I heard John de Lancie's voice and decided to watch as well.  It was fun and interesting as if someone combined two of my favorite shows when I was little (Star Trek: The Next Generation and G1 My Little Pony), and I couldn't turn away.  I began watching the show myself hoping I would get to see Discord again and began to fall in love with the show.  As time went on my two favorite characters became Fluttershy and Discord, which makes any time the two of them are on screen together some of my favorite moments.

I'm surprised at how I got invested in this fic... It was really good! Although the end of if was a little weird, when Celestia started narrating.

 

"I need to go think" was a strange ending, but it all wrapped up nicely regardless. :')
