Kazumi Evans did a pretty decent job filling in as luna's singing voice, good choice for such a milestone for the best princess. I though would have prefered kate covington from the children of the night video. Either way tjis was one episode where luna was able to make a mark without having to be the actual center of attention.

Can I join this fan club please? I used to be a Dashie fan, but then switched to Luna recently. She fits my personality better - I too am accepted by close family, yet feel regret and shame over past mistakes. I also feel melancholic and gloomy a lot of the time.

I've already switched my avatar and favorite pony preference, and gotten a Luna signature.

I even found a very appropriate Latin motto for the club: "Ave Domina Nox!", which kinda translates to "Hail the Lady of the Night!".

 

So how about it? Can I come in?

I freaking lose it every time. Especially that face of hers.

 

It's still one of the cutest things I've ever seen. 

 

Also, I always thought the princess' manes were, like, not solid. I always pictured their hair being kinda water-like. To see it act like regular hair was kinda...awkward to me

I really liked Luna in For Whom the Sweetie Belle Toils.  It was so fitting that she was the one who taught her the dangers of succumbing to jealousy towards her sister.  After all, she's been there already and knows how it feels- and knows not to give into it. 
 
I've always liked her, but I particularly enjoy how she's taken on the mentor role, which is usually reserved for her sister.

Sorry about that - I'm kinda new on this forum and don't really know how everything works. I'm still in a learning process.

But yeah, I've been a fan of Luna for some time now, it started with her helping Scootaloo in "Sleepless in Ponyville". I really like the idea of her coming in to the nightmares of young ponies and helping them solve their problems. I also got the Luna comic from the IDW micro series recently and enjoyed it. It was hilarious to see her struggling with red tape, a tight schedule and that Kibutz twerp.

I hope Luna gets an episode all to herself in Season 5. It's been way too long since that happened.

Oh, and I also have three very good Luna fanfics in my personal favorites list (Sorry for not checking to see they have been posted here before - I don't have the time for that right now):

Yeah, the best way to be a part of one of the pony fan clubs is to follow the thread (you can find that button at the top right of the page if you haven't  found it yet) and that way you get notifications when people post here. But yeah, as far as I know, you don't really have to ask to be a part of anything here!
