music Your Favourite Relaxing Piece of Music

An Old Head

Far Horizons and Distant Horizons from the Skyrim soundtrack immediately come to mind:

I like Far Horizons better; found Distant Horizons by accident whilst looking for it. But I think Far Horizons is more relaxing. Then there's Blackreach:

...damn, I wanna play Skyrim again :( But yeah; I don't really listen to a lot of music to be relaxed. I suppose I do soft piano music for that sometimes. Like jazz. Or or some techno that puts me in a trance-like state. Like Erasure's Fingers and Thumbs: Dub on the Moon Remix (maybe I'll edit a vid of that in here later...)

*Aruarian Dance*

I get so relaxed when I listen to this. My friend showed it to me and I think it was also on Samurai Champloo. I'm not quite sure. But yeah, I love it

Nujabes is one of my favorite artists and that's one of my favorite songs. May he rest in peace.

Here is one of my other favorites by Ayur

Claude Debussy's "Clair de Lune"

This one's classic. I love this song. I listen to this when I'm feeling sad.

This one is a new favorite of mine. I find it very calming.

This one's so emotionally touching to me, it's brought me to tears, before.

One of my favourite artists right now is Lindsey Stirling, she combines dubstep and violin to make beautiful music and I always feel relaxed when I listen to her.

I'm also digging Ed Sheeran too, his voice is pure brilliance.

I don't always relax to music, but when I do, I listen to...

,

, or

They're all pretty nice. Kinda odd that the last one's from a dramatic surgery game, but I guess there needs to be SOME way to relieve the tension.

Indeed.

Despite how much I love Taps and think that he's the greatest brony musician He has tracks that are way more atmospheric and relaxing than that one But still that one is a good example of what he can do

Heck, that wasn't about relaxation there. That was more. It was honestly really intense to be able to close my eyes and not move while that played. I'd call it a form of catharsis.

AgileDash - Twilights Ascension

My personal favorite.

Oh geez. Um.....just one...? That's a suggestion, not a requirement, right? XD

This really, really awesome and underappreciated brony musician Legendary makes incredible relaxing music based around MLP. Here are my two favorites of his works, which I often listen to whilst napping in the day :3

He also made this album called Equestrian Space, which has a ton of great ambient music, such as:

...and those are just a couple of my favorites.

Besides Legendary, a couple of other brony musicians I want to shout out for making amazing ambient/relaxing music, with a couple of their songs:

Night Breeze

Resonant Waves

These are all my favorites ;)

There are tons of relaxing Homestuck songs, but this is definitely one of my favorites:

It's really something how a song can be relaxing despite its fast tempo and interesting percussion.

That's really all there is to say on the matter.

It really depends on my mood.  I can be relaxed to nearly anything if I'm ready to relax.

Sometimes, you just wanna pop on rainymood.com and kick some of this:

And other times I can be lulled to sleep by the dulcet tones of Infant Annihilator.

Depends on what mood I'm in.  If I am angry I will listen to rock.  If I am furious I will listen to Hardcore/Screemo.  If I am sad I will listen to classical (usually Beethoven or Mozart).  And so on and so forth.  If I had to choose a single song it would have to be...

...

You know, sometimes I just like to kick back and listen to a little bit of

Whenever I come home from a frustrating day in the outside world, this music just soothes me. I don't mind the shadows creeping up the wall behind me.

And in the naked light I saw

Ten thousand people, maybe more

People talking without speaking

People hearing without listening

People writing songs that voices never shared

No one dared

The song "Music of the Night" from the Phantom of the Opera is really relaxing to me. I listen to it on repeat every night; it's like a lullaby. I can just close my eyes and get lost in the song.

Dude, I could hug you. I love the Phantom of the Opera. But my lullaby would be Awoken. What, it soothes me!

(BTW, favorite POTO song is Point of No Return. :P)
