Had a hard time choosing between A Link To The Past and Ocarina Of Time.

I think much of it also has to do with the order in which I played the games for the first time. The first four Zelda games I played for the first time;

1. NES Legend of Zelda (very brief)

2. A Link to the Past

3. Ocarina of Time

4. Majora's Mask (very brief)

So yeah, I know that I'm biased to picking the games that had the most nostalgia and novelty. I heartily enjoyed Twilight Princess and I'm quite certain that if that was my first 3D Zelda game, that would be my favorite instead.

There are quite a lot of Zelda games I've yet to finish.

Overall: Ocarina of Time

Story: Majora's Mask

Puzzles: A link to the past

Enemies: Phantom Hourglass

Overworld: Skyward Sword

Personally, I've played ALL the zelda games. Makes it kinda hard to choose favorites :|

Twilight Princess!

Okay so itis one of the few Ive played but it is my favorite!

The music is amazing, the graphics were great for the day, and better than most gamecube games. The wolf transformation is in my opinion the best Link transformation ever. I mean just the whole game is great. Now if only my memory cards would quit being corrupted I could actauall finish the game Dx

A Link To the Past. A simple yet engaging story, great soundtrack, gameplay and graphics still hold up very well, best puzzles and boss fights in the series.

Yeah, I love this game too much

The only legend of Zelda game that I've played is Skyward Sword. If you don't compare it to the others it is awesome.

I am interesting in Wind Waker and Ocarina Of time, but I have yet to play both of those.

Majora's Mask scares the life out of me. That moon is so scary. My friends at school like to tease me by pulling up pictures of it though. If I played the game, I would probably do the "fourth day" glitch where the moon gets really far away.

In recent years the 3 I have enjoyed the most were Majora's Mask, Skyward sword and A Link Between Worlds. I think though due to nostalgia it had to be Majora's mask as my favorite. Main thing I like about Majora's mask was the over world and the characters in it on the 3 day cycle, the dungeons were a bit mediocre though in my opinion. On the other hand skyward sword had really great dungeons but I didn't care for the over world, I have to admit though I had to play Skyward Sword twice to appreciate it as I knew what I was getting my self into. Finally A Link Between Worlds I like because it's 60fps, so creamy! I also liked the use of the stamina bar here as well as the free reign over what dungeon you want to play first, the renting system was good as well. The story was very original for a zelda game in my opinion and the ending had a bigger twist than bioshock infinite, people who finished it will probably get what I mean there ;)

Obviously Ocarina of Time. This is even one of the best video games of all time! Twilight Princess comes in second mostly because of the astonishing, dark graphics. Not this toony skyward sword style.

Who voted for Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Track!? :eww:

I'm 50% sure this doesn't exists, so I had to make it. And if there is one, I don't think it's been revived recently.

Woo! I've always liked the Legend of Zelda, my favorite being Twilight Princess (wonder why), and Ocarina of Time. I've never beaten a LoZ game, but I still find them very fun to play. ^^ (\

I do like the Legend of Zelda games, whether we call him Link or Zelda, the games have really been memorable. My favorite has to be the Ocarina of Time and Wind Waker.

I personally like Majora's Mask and Wind Waker.

Majora's Mask is a true gem of a game in my opinion! The storyline, the characters and that sense of foreboding caused by the three day time limit really makes the game one of the most exciting by far!

Majora's mask, for me, wasn't the best game. I found it incredibly confusing. Ocarina of Time was just... epic. Anyone here ever played Phantom Hourglass? It is a truly underrated game.

I'd have to say, Ocarina of Time was probably the best game ever from the series. I have to say though, the Redeads scared the life out if me as a child. Their screams in particular were quite horrifying! The mini-dungeon to get the Sun song was probably the most tense moment in the game for me! xD

I'm a huge Zelda fan.  Loved em all, except for Adventures of Link.  Basically, anything entitled "Adventures of fill-in-the-blank" is something you want to keep well away from.  I'm just waiting for the day when they make Halo: The Adventures of Master Chief, and Lord of the Rings II: The Adventures of Frodo.  *shudders*  Anyway, I can't believe nopony's mentioned Link to the Past yet!  That's my favorite.  I also made the following thread a little while ago.  Most everyone just seemed to be confused by it.  I just thought it was neat, that's all.  Oh yes, and a moderator changed the title.  I originally just called it "Hey, I just noticed something..."  I thought that was snappier, but I understand why he changed it to avoid confusion when searching.
