actually, i don't think it would be the WORST THING EVER if i lost all my music on it, if i at least had some kind of list available where i could see what all the music i had was, so i could get it again from somewhere.

That USB transfer rate is supposed to hinder you from doing just that anyway. =P

 

Remember, minimums, it might happily run for a decade without an issue.

 

Once it stops working normally for you, look into making a back up, that's basically all there is to it.

Hmm, did you buy FL Studio? If not then you could always pirate Reason, unless you're against that.

 

i didn't, but Reason is a lot more complex to use than FL Studio. it's a lot harder to use than FL Studio, i've heard. i dunno if i could learn how to do things in two parallel DAW programs. ugh. i should talk to my teacher about this.

Yea, I hear FL Studio is a lot easier compared to most. I wouldn't try to juggle two of them. It would just confuse you and get in the way a lot I'm sure.
