I DID NOT KNOW THIS EXISTED AND NOW I AM GOING TO HEAR IT MENTALLY EVERY TIME I GO TO THE STORE.

I would've posted the first game's version instead, but, well, the only one I could find on Youtube

Wow, you've never played Mario Party two? Have you played any of them?

Such nostalgia from all of those games. ;-;

i only played the 5th and 7th game extensively, the 5th one moreso. i never owned a N64 when i was young, so i never played those games. :x that's not to say i didn't play N64 games on an emulator, though. Paper Mario, Super Mario 64, and the Banjo Kazooie games are all very dear to me. (i do own a N64 now, btw)

N64 games emulate horribly from my experience. Tried using one to play DK64 when my cartridge had stopped working (bought it new back in the day) but there were a lot of times where I'd just be walking around, then suddenly the game would act like I went through a door and I'd be back at the entrance of the area I was in. Nowadays I have a working copy of DK64 again. :3

Awesome.

I've never played that. The only Mario games I've ever played were Super Mario World 2 on GBA and Super Mario Galaxy.

N64 emulators aren't perfect, i agree. Paper Mario had a lot of graphical glitches when running around in Toad Town, as well as other locations, and i think not all graphical effects were properly emulated, either. the Banjo games and Mario worked pretty well, though. i'd get more games if i were more into gaming, i guess, but i can't bother getting games as much as i do with music. ironically, since it was the opposite for the longest time of my life.

Then there's me, who doesn't own many music CDs or anything, but has shelves of video game cartridges and discs. So in that sense, we're the opposite. :P

Though, while we're talking about N64 games and music, I'd have to recommend Tetrisphere to you. Great soundtrack, great game. So, for you, it'd be the best of both worlds. :P

You need to change that. :)

Unfortunately, even though I have a Wii, I very very rarely play it. I'd rather play modern games on my Xbox.

If Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft all stopped this competition for who has the best console and just teamed up to make one huge awesome console together, that'd be awesome.

The chances of that happening though are the same chances of me spontaneously growing a tail...

oh, don't get me wrong. it's not that i don't like games anymore, it's just that my interest in it has been replaced with music almost entirely. i do kinda get itchy fingers when i see 'that game' in the store sometime, whenever that happens, like when i saw the PSX game Oddworld in the thrift store. sadly, the disc inside was the wrong one (a Gran Turismo one), so i didn't buy it, disappointedly enough. it's not nearly as powerful as my music addiction, though, and since thrift stores sell music for such cheap bargain prices, it's easy to get a lot of them.

reminds me, i saw a Baldur's Gate 2 CD pack in the store once. if it's still there, shall i buy it? the case is a bit crashed (like when you drop a CD into the floor, and the front falls off its hinges? like that it was), and i dunno if i'll ever play it, but still... should i?

i like the song, btw. i'd play more N64 games if my controller weren't shit though.

How much is it? I'm not that knowledgeable when it comes to collecting PC games, but if the case is that beat up, I wouldn't pay more than a buck or two for it. The fact you don't know if you'll ever play it or not would also lead me to say "no".

it costed around 1.5/3 dollars. like i said, thrift stores are extremely cheap.
