Hmm, in my opinion HASBRO were a bit sexist at the Trixie remark, it is a shame really I would've like to see her manly side, I think it would have been much more interesting!

Why didn't this person do the smart thing and ask whether or not Twilight is going to watch her friends die of old age? Because I'm still not over this alicorn thing. My friend keeps harassing me about it everyday "Mark how do you feel that Twilight is an alicorn now" pisses me off.

1. That question has already been answered by Meghan McCarthy. She won't.

 

2. Faust wouldn't be able to answer that anyway. She hasn't directly been involved in writing since the opening for S2.

I love these answers and they really give a lot of food for thought (and possible fanfic ideas).  But the idea that they were all friends even before Twilight came to town surprised me a bit.  I'm fairly sure that they were all aware of each other, being important contributors to Ponyville, but a lot of them didn't really seem comfortable hanging out with each other at first in season 1 - particularly RD towards Pinkie in the beginning of Griffon the Brush Off (at the end of which Dash explicitly refers to the rest of the mane 6 as her "new friends") and Applejack and Rarity in "Look Before You Sleep".
