Why is Princess Cadence so left out?

I just love them all. I don't really think one is left out more than the others. Princess Cadence is newer, simple as that. I didn't watch season 3 at least until a few weeks ago.

Well, I've noticed 75% of the brony fandom follows either Princess Celestia, or Princess Luna. But, why not Princess Cadence?

Is it because Luna/Celestia have had more screen-time? Is it because Luna and Celestia control the moon/sun which is 'godlike'?

 

Please explain. I believe Cadence is equal to both of them, (on a more personal note, I think she has the best colour scheme. )

 

Most underrated Princess in the show.

 

I mean seriously, she is the princess of love, I would think there would be more art on her.

 

But then again, I think I'll start making more Cadence songs.

I actually liked Princess Cadence a lot as a character. I liked her design, and ever since I was a kid I hated the color pink, so it's a bit surprising.

 

I also loved seeing her emotions in the song This Day Aria. The brief moments she sang really showed how much she cared for Shining armor (Who was another character I loved at the first sight of him). Really she had a place in my heart when I first saw her. As well as Chrysallis. A lot of people give A Canterlot Wedding a lot of flak, but I really enjoyed that episode. It had a memorable villain, two new characters to enjoy, and amazing songs.

Probably because she is thrown aside in every episode she is in even though she plays a narrative essential role. In Canterlot Wedding most of what we see of Cadence is actual Queen Crysalis. In Crystal Empire She is seen struggling to hold her barrier of love and light but the focus remains on twilight and the main six. In Equestria Games she gets a few small scenes but the focus is diverted mainly to Twilight the gang and the Weird chicken butt pony as well as cutting to the actual games inspector. We have yet to get an episode that gives her a chance to elaborate on her character.

I like the concept of Cadence I like the tiny bits we see of her character, but she desperately needs to be expanded upon.

Probably because Cadence is a minor character and she only has an important role in A Canterlot Wedding. Luna and Celestia being the main 2 princesses, I'd say that's why they get all the attention.

I love cadence! I hope that she will be a bigger part of next season. I mean come on! She's been in only like what, four episodes? Cadence is also one of my favorite ponies.

I am a Princess Cadence fan.  When Twilight found her in the cave, I immediately felt for her and wanted her to get her stallion back.  You might say that I fell in love with her right away.  Maybe she used her love magic on me.  And seeing her join in on the Pinkie Pie dance really sealed the deal.

I would think because Cadence seems to be somewhat of a Mary Sue at this point. She hasn't had much character development, and no visible flaws. A Canterlot Wedding was hardly even about her, as much as it was about Chrysalis, as the majority of the two-parter revolved around her. She has potential as a character, but I doubt they'll delve into her personality much more than they have.

But then again, the same goes for Celestia. Besides having a weak spot for cake, she hasn't shown many flaws. Of course, with the exception of banishing her dear sister to the moon for a thousand years.

I like Cadence a lot but I think she needs a bit more screen time and character development for her to stand out a bit. I agree with the others saying she was brought in a bit late whilst Luna and Celestia have been there since the beginning. I'm hoping that in season 4 we'll see a bit more of her.
