I have a hard time wrapping my head around this...but I'm glad it's just a single, standalone release. Hopefully it will stay that way. I'll try and give it the benefit of the doubt...but...man, it just looks bad.

eh i'll watch it even if it looks like a rip off of monster high i like crepy shows so i've been told but still i think they can do WAY better with the art style and design i just hope they act the same way as they do in mlp fim ;~;

Um, the designs are changing. In the first reveal, they had shorter necks, and different proportions. Now, it seems like they can have wings, and. . . wait, that ain't human.

I have mixed feelings about these designs. They're just not. . . cute.

Definitely not cute. Another thing I noticed, as I believe I mentioned before, were the cutie marks on their faces. To me, it just looks silly.

I'm no fashions expert, but even DERPY would say that character design looks HIDEOUS.

Hmmm....well I'm not going to get too judgmental yet, as we haven't even seen the slightest footage of equestria girls or what it's like yet! But I'll make some comments and predictions. 

 

It really does look like a non-goth monster high though e_o. Wow. But The designs are okay, but I'm kinda disappointed at them...it's looks bleh.  And I dunno, but the lipstick on them is somehow off- putting, except for Rarity....since Rarity is the type. But I wonder how the designs will look like in the actual show! That'll be fun to see! Just hope they don't make this too cliche' or cheesy. 

 

I might buy the DVD, depending how much I like it or not. Hopefully they'll release it somewhere on the internet!! If not I'll just buy the thing anyways. But I'm gonna remain positive and say it'll be good!! Real good hopefully! I also wonder how long it'll be!

 

But I hope we get to see the mane six in this...since the dvd is about Twilight going to the human world on her own. And apparently she makes friends in the human world...hopefully they don't take the place of the mane six!! D: But I think the two worlds will somehow connect in the end. 

 

But I honestly can't wait to see how this turns out!! :3 Can't wait! Hope it isn't crappy or too girly! But I'm gonna say it'll turn out good!

Being that I cannot judge the storyline, I will judge the animation. It looks dreadful. I hope the writing makes up for it.

I'm wondering if them removing it from theaters is a result of the Fandom whining about it?

Amazon has it on preorder if ya want to check it out.

 

Should be interesting.

 

Did not watch it in theaters due my job but now I can get it next month.

I was like when the rep at Hasbro booth said that SHOUT was selling em at their booth.

 

Picked up the DVD in a heartbeat

 

Kinda Neat SHOUT had the DVD & BDs early.

 

Havent checked out the extras yet.

 

Will post my thoughts on the movie later.

 

Can say its well worth it
