No. Crona is the closest, with Mailmare being the second closest, then there's CD, but he won't get the Certified Brony badge because he's an alicorn.

 

I'm probably never going to get it, because I normally mess around in the Forum Lounge / Roleplays where posts don't count.

I think that's what happens to almost half of the people here. I usually post at least 10 times per day but now I only post once a month or even less. To be honest, I kind of miss posting..

Honestly, it's completely ridiculous how many posts you need to get that badge. It should be like 5000, not 10000, considering it's 3000 posts for the regular brony badge.

This site has only been around for less than two years, OP. I doubt anyone would have amassed that amount of posts in that time.

It's not at all unreasonable, on another forum I used it only took me about two years to get ten thousand posts, and honestly if you're very active you'll get there eventually. The site is just too new for that at the moment.

Chrona's so close, but he's really slowed down on posting. I honestly think ~Chaotic Discord~ will be the first to get it. He's really gaining on Chrona. But I don't know if it'll technically count since he's an Admin.

I rather doubt we will actually get to see anyone with that badge within less than three years. In many other forums, there are alot of people with such absurdly high post counts, but that's only possible when the forum they're in partially tolerate spam posts and such, and spamming in this forum is a bit difficult thanks to the character minimum and the patrolling mods.

I won't get it, that's for sure. At my current posting rate of around 66 posts per month (with this month being unusually prolific), it should take me twelve years to earn the Certified Brony badge. Yeah, probably not going to happen. 

 

CD's probably going to be the first to reach 10k posts, but, as has been stated, he's an admin. Regular users? It's probably going to be a while before someone makes it, especially with the reduced activity of many of the top posters and the introduction of the character minimums.

I think that ~Chaotic Lightning~ may get it first, however, based on the fact that I see him in nearly everything. If he doesn't that ~CD~ guy will. :-/

Also worth noting that Scootabloom's parents banned them from using the computer for more than an hour or so a day a few months ago :3 People start out fast and slow down, but not all of them just stop. I still post regularly, and if Crona doesn't step it up, I'll get there first |'D I may not be able to show it off right away, but when and if I retire, oh mang~

 

I still feel 10,000 is a bit high, personally.

Heh. The reason people are called "Certified Bronies" is because they breathe MLP in all they do. Do any of us do that in our lives? I doubt it. We've all got other things to do too. If we were to make 10000 posts on a single forum, it would really reflect your life on MLP. At least, that's my take on it.

I'd love for the badges rankings to be shuffled around a bit, with new badges being introduced in between certain gaps. The intervals between each badge start out small and gradually increase as you gain more posts. I believe it should stay relatively consistent throughout your time on the site, with the biggest period of time in between new badge upgrades being 500 posts. Even that's a little high.

Well I would post like crazy, but I mainly just have so many things to do. I don't want to sound rude but.. I don't think we all have the time for that.

of course we all have the time to be a part of this loving, great community, and interact, but not everyone's going to post thousands a month.

besides, doing something less that you enjoy helps you savor it, so honestly it's better to post less (like for avid people instead of 100's a day maybe just 50 a day, or in my case 20 posts a day instead of what I could do)

 

edit: in no way am I trying to motivate people to not post btw!!

Trust me, it takes a long time. There's one forum I've been active on since sometime in High-School(I'm almost 21 now), that I only have like 1800 posts on, and even one of the day one regulars/honorary staff has just under 20K when the site at least 10 years old(that's only 2K a year, or 150 a month for people doing the math) and the biggest non-staff user I've seen on there is at like only 5800 despite having posts dating back to 2004. 

 

Forums are place you don't post 24/7, just when something you want to talk about gets posted, or forum games.

I personally would be pretty happy with the phoenix badge, it's so purteh, and it's gonna take like a year for me to get it.

I personally think there's more room to add different badges between Brony and certified brony. Like Changeling, Griffon, Dragon. Although I guess they should be behind brony ; meaning the brony badge would be moved forward.

The speed I am posting at, I will never get out of Unicorn which is a darn shame, cause I don't even like the badge.

 

But it doesn't matter, forum lifetime will eventually see people get those badges. There was once a time where 1,000 seemed far off.
