Favorite Fighting is Magic Stage Theme?

Ok, most of you know what My Little Pony: Fighting is Magic is. If not, google it. And look up the stage themes while you are at it. Because today, I will be asking what everyone's favorite stage theme from this game is. Vote above and put reasons below.

 

My favorite would be the Pinkie Pie one. This song represents Pinkie so well and it is insanely catchy. It is an extremely fun song and is impossible to not dance to. I just love it.

Alright, I've started to take a liking to Applejack and Twilight Sparkle's themes, as well as Rainbow Dash. My new top six list would probably be along the lines of:

2. Applejack

3. Rainbow Dash

My favorite's the Twilight one. It's so magical and wonderful sounding. It's original but totally fits the character.

 

My least favorite is Fluttershy for one really arbitrary reason; all I can think of when I hear it is the Sims 3. Seriously, I can't even relate it to Fluttershy because it just translates into my brain as Sims.

Whoops, forgot my reason for least favorite. My least favorite is the one for Applejack. Not saying that it is bad, but it is rather boring compared to the others in my opinion. It's cool though.

I don't really have a least favorite. I like all of the themes, but Rainbow Dash's is the best.

Hey, I made a thread like this a while ago. Since it hasn't had a reply in a while, though, I'm not going to merge yours with it. I know, sometimes I even surprise myself with my forbearance. I will, however, copy and paste what I wrote to answer the question of most and least favorite.

 

Least fave: Applejack's Theme
The bluegrass/banjo is awesome, and perfectly appropriate for Applejack. There's also a great contrast with the electric guitar, and the two seem almost to partake in a musical duel. It's loud, proud, and a little competitive, like Applejack herself. On the negative side... the clapping thing just doesn't gel for me. It's fine when it's just in the background, but the middle of the song has a piece that's just clapping. To me, it doesn't good, it sounds corny. This is the reason why this song gets my downvote. 

 

Favorite, the First and the Best: Twilight Sparkle's Theme.
As befits our purple badass bookworm heroine, this song is just the best. A kicking beat, and xylophones (perfect instrument for an intellectual like Twilight - light airy sounds are perfect for an Aquarius - the highest of the air signs). The start of this song has a great build-up. It just gets you so excited. Then a bit of a lull happens, before it begins to build up again. And another lull. At this point, that awesome guitar part makes it's appearance, along with trumpets (for Twilight's connection to royalty - see even back then the creator of this song knew about what would happen with Twilight) and that ever present, ever perfect xylophone melody. This song really has no flaws, is perfect for the pony it represents, and it deserves to be number one.

Favorite: Rainbow Dash. I love love love this one! The inspiration from the Gala song was a nice touch.

 

2. Twilight. Love it! Nothing wrong with it, just RD's is better.

 

3. Fluttershy. Love it, but a little on the light/bouncy side.

 

4. Applejack. Good, but too much stop-and-go,

 

5. Pinkie Pie. Too bouncy.

 

6. Rarity. I... just eh. Kinda boring.

RD's theme was truly awesome, maybe because her character fits well into the whole 'fighting game' thing, or maybe because she's just a cool pone

 

Fluttershy's theme was great and probably my second favourite, but I do love Pinkie's theme - it's not really suitable for a fighting game, but it's adorable all the same.

My favorite is Applejack's theme, mostly for stylistic reasons. The contrast between the different instruments put together in a way that truly captures the essence of AJ just really grabs my attention. It's got all of her competitive spirit along with that country flavor. It's an exciting and unique piece. 

 

Twilight's is my second favorite. It's an okay song for the most part but I love the melody that comes in around 0:50 and the one that comes in around 1:30 as well. 

 

Least favorite would be Fluttershy's. I'm not quite sure why but it just doesn't move me. You know what I mean?

Anyway, I agree with what you say with Applejack theme. It fits her well, but I don't particularly like it.

 

As for the Twilight theme, that's my second favorite. It is very well composed, but I won't go into detail on why I like it for the sake of redundancy (I basically have the same reason for liking it as you.)

Favourite theme is Applejacks, I really like the instruments used and it's something different. I could imagine a good fight taking place with that in the background. I don't know why either, but using the MoCreatures mod for Minecraft I used to ride into the night on horses with that theme playing, and feel like a total badass.

Twilight's theme is my favorite. It reminds me of her magic, and well, I just don't have any problems with it. My least favorite is Fluttershy's theme. It just seems too... different from the other themes. It's too peaceful for a fighting game.

1. Twilight Sparkle. It's magical, it's upbeat, it's so Twilight. Some parts are just plain epic, whereas other parts of it are really cute. All in all, it's a beautiful piece of music that fits the character extremely well.

 

2. Fluttershy. This one doesn't really sound like fighting music, but that's to be expected from Fluttershy. That doesn't mean it isn't downright gorgeous, and the animal noises and female voices really add a nice touch. I really like how it progresses from something cute and quiet to something grand and epic.

 

3. Applejack. The banjo, the violin, and the clapping really add to that country atmosphere you would expect for an Applejack theme, but it also incorporates some hard rock beats to really bring out AJ's toughness. My only complaint is that it's a tad bit loud at some parts, but when it's good, it's awesome.

 

4. Rarity. This one is insanely catchy, and also quite beautiful. I think it sounds a bit too "space-like" at times, and it's easily the most repetitive for being the shortest in length, but it captures Rarity's grace and beauty very well.

 

5. Rainbow Dash. Like Applejack's theme, this one is absolutely rockin', but that also means it's a bit too loud at times. I feel like something is missing from it, and I don't know if it really screams Rainbow Dash, or if it just sounds like a really generic rock tune. Don't get me wrong though, it's still good.

 

6. Pinkie Pie. It fits Pinkie Pie very well, but it's all over the place. It's also a bit too long and repetitive.

Bumped because I meant to reply to this a while ago and just remembered to now.

 

Favorite: Twilight Sparkle

It's catchy, the rhythm is nice, it fits her character very well and it still works very well as a theme for a fighting game. It's what pops into my head when I think of Fighting is Magic.

 

Honorable Mention: Rainbow Dash

The rock definitely gets you in the mood to hit something, perfect background for what you're doing. Bonus points for incorporating her awesome part in At the Gala towards the end of the song.

 

Least Favorite: Fluttershy

It's a good piece of music, and it definitely gives off a Fluttershy vibe, but at the same time it doesn't really feel like music to fight to.

Most Favorite: Rainbow Dash's theme.I can definitely imagine kicking arse to that song and it really does get me pumped to do something.It also doubles as a good exercising music.

 

Least Favorite: Applejack's theme.It's just...ehh.It just doesn't sound good as a song in general,even less so for a fighting game.Though I can easily imagine a buncha rednecks brawling each other in some sort of redneck fight club to this song,but I definitely don't think it's good music for a fighting game.

 

As for the ratings for each of the songs,for me it goes RD > Twilight > Rarity > Pinkie Pie > Fluttershy > Applejack.

Okay, I need to update my list, as my preferences has changed. So yeah, here it is:

 

1. Twilight Sparkle - It fits her character very well, and is very catchy.

2. Pinkie Pie - I like it for the same reasons as before, just not quite to the same extent.

3. Applejack - It fits her character very well, and it's just a fun song.

4. Rainbow Dash - Her song is awesome, and fits her character well. That's all I got, really.

5. Fluttershy - It fits her character well, but it doesn't really make good battle music.

6. Rarity - It's an alright song, but it's king of boring and not very memorable.

My favorite is DEFINITELY Twilight's theme... I mean, come on! Doesn't it just get you pumped up?! It's so fitting for Twilight, too. It's all around perfect throughout the whole song in my opinion.

 

My least favorite is actually Pinkie Pie's theme. It feels like it's stabbing my ear with sharp, harsh electronic noises. I like when the song goes into the "Smile" theme, but other than that I don't care for it.

 

My second least favorite is Rainbow Dash's--the song, unfortunately, sounds like every other fighting game song. It's too generic. Very much like any Guilty Gear song. Also, if it sounded less like a synthetic guitar I'd like it more--less like a studio recording and more raw, real.

1) Fluttershy - It's light and calm, just like her, it just has this tranquil feel that speaks to me. Fits her personality to a T.

2) Rarity - Elegant, classy, just like Rarity herself

3) Applejack - Bluegrass ftw

4) Twilight Sparkle - Fits her character well, and is pretty catchy

5) Pinkie Pie - Her theme is stuck in my head whenever I think of Pinkie Pie

6) Rainbow Dash - It fits her, but I didn't really care much for the theme.

 

Also, Fluttershy has the most ADORABLE win pose >.<

 

Edit: There needs to be an Octavia option, even though she isn't a character in the game. Her theme is just too awesome to be denied, and it's made her jump all the way to favorite pony.
