What sucks is that I bought all my albums on iTunes and then I realized recently how cool it would be to have a CD collection, so now I have to re-buy all my albums on CD, but I don't have the money -__-

I have like 13 CDs right now though. As soon as I have more money, I'm gonna start getting a bunch more.

Oh wow I just realized you have Permanent Waves by Rush. That's my favorite band of all time!

What do you have at the moment then? Still interested in what you do have. I had a similar dilemma about a week ago on iTunes as well when I was deciding whether or not I just wanted to get the songs I like for a few bands or just buy the Greatest Hits CD.

Well I could always post a whole list of all the albums I own, although that would take forever cause there are like at least 70 of them lol

Does vinyl count?

I have about 250 records: although that was when I last counted so I'd have about 270 by now. So much so my different sections for singles, albums and compilations has all got mixed up due to running out of space

Got a pic from ages ago: I mainly collect 70s Disco and Disco/Funky/Chicago/Deep-House stuff

And I wont list them that would take way too long, it probably looks less in the pic because there a bit hard to display them all

I wish I actually had a good case for my Dark Side of the Moon CD. I have those crappy paper ones for all of my Pink Floyd CDs. With age comes many many CDs, but you have more than I did when I was 15. I think I had like one or two that I never listened. I think one was VanHalen and the other was Aerosmith. Back in the dark ages.....

Most of these are just Christmas CDs, and CDs people have given me over the years.

There's only 4 CDs I've specifically bought on my own.

Green Day - ¡UNO!

Green Day - ¡DOS!

Green Day - ¡TRÉ!

Deadmau5 - >Album Title Goes Here<

Yeah, I like Green Day. And I'm an avid Deadmau5 fan. That's just his only album I've gotten on CD.

Wow really? Well then...

That Pink Floyd CD was my brother's he never played it, I can tell because it has no scrathes.

The Opeth, Death and Emperor CDs my other brother ordered for me from Amazon.

The Electric Wizard and Mastodon CDs I bought at a store in Hollywood called Amoeba on Thursday.

The Tool CD I also bought at Amoeba today.

My brother also has a bunch rap CDs from years ago but, I don't count those as part of my collection.

I have like 13 CDs right now though. As soon as I have more money, I'm gonna start getting a bunch more.

Dude, I only have seven CDs. You don't what it's like to be a fifteen year old with only seven CDs!!! sad.png angry.png

Man I wish I had more CDs... lots more. And vinyl too, Too bad it's expensive AF.

Technically, I have a very small number of CD's.  I use my parents' CD collection to fill my IPod though so when it's all said and done, my house hold has hundreds of CDs.

My Collection

Along Came a Spider- Alice Cooper (autographed)

Welcome 2 My Nightmare- Alice Cooper (autographed)

School's Out (Greatest Hits Collection)- Alice Cooper

Billion Dollar Babies- Alice Cooper

Into the Now- Tesla (Autographed)

Believe- Disturbed

Ten Thousand Fists- Disturbed

Sounding the Seventh Trumpet- Avenged Sevenfold

Sonic Boom- Kiss

Some Random Kiss Greatest Kits

Black Rain- Ozzy

Karmacode- Lacuna Coil (autographed)

I'm sure there are more but my CD's are buried.

The Alice Cooper and Ozzy autographs were ordered off Newberry Comics.

The Tesla autograph I received when I was ten and met the band.  Frank Hannon also signed my shirt, told me about a time he opened up for Alice Cooper, and recognized me from when i was five.  I saw him last year and he handed me my first ever guitar pick while he was on stage.

The Lacuna Coil autograph was received during a Borders bookstore signing when they played an acoustic set.

Billion Dollar Babies came from my Secret Santa on the Living Dead Doll forums.

The rest were all gifts from my parents.

I also have the following on vinyl:

Billion Dollar Babies- Alice Cooper  It comes with some photos and this giant bill.  The vinyl case is supposed to look like wallet.

Killer- Alice Cooper  It has one of those slits in the side that shows it's a promo.

Welcome 2 My Nightmare- Alice Cooper  It was a Christmas gift from my parents last year.

(possibly Opeth).  I do plan on buying

If you're going to buy an Opeth CD, you should buy it from Amazon. That's where I got my copy of Orchid, I went to the record store today and they didn't even have ONE Opeth CD.

That's it so far...pretty entry-level stuff for thrash, but meh. Haven't been collecting in a while now because I've been broke as shit over the past year, but finally I'm getting to the point where I can probably start buying a CD once every couple of weeks. Suffice it to say with all the new stuff I've discovered since then, there's a shitload of albums for me to buy yet...

It wasn't that underwhelming, at least you had Kreator and Sodom. I wish I had more money, if only I had a nickle for every time I did playing CoD. Because I'm fucking awful at CoD. But anyways, SLAYER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Same here, I was surprised he didn't have any Mastodon or Eyehategod since he likes them so much. I'm shocked at the fact that he has no Radiohead. But then again I don't have any Nirvana or Carcass.

The only Radiohead albums that are at my store are The King of Limbs and their Best Of album. I only just started getting into Eyehategod, and as for Mastodon, there are other bands that I'd rather buy albums from.

I would have expected you to have more than that.

Most of my stuff is still on my wishlist, I plan on starting to order albums online.
