Just what the title says. I'd like to improve my drawings, but I have a creative block and I don't know what to draw.

 

So in this thread, I would like for you to tell me what to draw. It can be any situation you want, with (almost) any character you want.

 

There's a few "rules" though:

 

I would prefer canon characters (this includes background ponies too) as opposed to OC's, the reason being I want to teach myself the show's house style so I can draw more accurately. That being said, if you want to request OC's, feel free and I will likely draw some, but just keep in mind that I will give preference to canon characters.

 

I will also give preference to creative situations, and fun/challenging poses are also a plus.

 

I'm not expecting a lot of requests, but I will have to be picky with them because I don't really have time to do a lot of drawings. I'm afraid I won't be able to colour them. I'm not up to scratch on vectoring yet.

 

Thanks in advance for any requests, it will help me get much better.

Alright, here's one for you.

 

A giant Scootaloo (like Godzilla huge) is terrorizing Canterlot and breathing fire while destroying buildings. Ponies scatter about trying to find refuge from the destruction.

Hmm, okie dokie lokie. Draw Spitfire (with an exaggerated and ridiculous facial expression) shouting at an irritated looking Rainbow Dash to "DO A BARREL ROLL!"

 

'Tis up to you as to whether you want to draw RD actually performing a barrel roll.

Anyway, @@Gigapony, if you want something challenging, may I suggest Derpy tangled up in a mess of cables and wires hanging from the ceiling with Time Turner looking on in confusion. I dunno, I'm not so good with the ideas.

OK! Wow, this was more responses than I was expecting.

 

I am really liking the ideas you've all posted, so I'm going to do them all~

 

So the first batch will consist of:

 

- Attack of the 50-Foot Scootaloo

- DO A BARREL ROLL!

- Fluttershy eating pizza

- Rainbow... PAUNCH!

- Idle chitchat with Octavia and Vinyl

- Derpy all tied up

- Rainbow Dash vs. Spitfire

Took me long enough, but I finally got some free time to draw, and so I banged out the first two in the list. They were very challenging (especially the Scootaloo one) but also incredibly fun to draw.

 

Attack of the 50-foot Scootaloo:

 

 

"Hey, Rainbow Dash! I think I'm finally getting close to my cutie mark!"

Rainbow Dash doesn't want to do a barrel roll:

 

 

Spitfire needs to lay off the Star Colt 64.

 

 

Should have some more free time tomorrow so I will (hopefully) be posting the next two.

Naw, duckface isn't fabulous or high class enough for Rarity. She'd never be caught displaying such a literally fowl-mouthed expression.

While Barrel Roll was well done, the lettering in particular, I found 50 Foot Scootaloo to be much more entertaining overall.  Scoot's expression is priceless.  I'm looking forward to the rest of this series too. 

 

And I like your new avatar.  Now I won't mistake you for Hawkflame.    It took me a solid minute to figure it out.  "Sweetie Belle is a taco.  Sweetie taco?  Oh, I got it...Taco Belle!"

She can either have her regalia necklace (silver with gold design with fire shaped and colored jewel) or without she should be in sort of a position like when a ponies about to race(hind legs up front legs stretched out  and I would like to see some of transition on the cutie mark... also I would Like the Quote "Ten.. Nine... Eight... the countdowns starting now, until the monsters in my head finally break out" 

 She should have an expression of pain or fear (or both)

i need this horrible excuse for a drawing(in Paint) to be replaced with something worthwhile. its my OC Thunder Rocker. i'm not at all original, i know.

sorry it isnt on a website other than this, like it should be, but i'm no good at that either. please help him! he's horrible! lol. and its not really all that important, i have a hoof-drawn one thats better, but still sucks. if you get it done, great. if not, no biggie. thanks! also, i know you don't like drawing OCs as much, but if its just the style of the show you want to practice, please, use this as an opportunity. i just need it fixed, or i can't really use him as my OC and still seem like i know what i'm doing. (which i don't, but i want to seem like i do, ya know?)

HAHAHA! This picture is amazing. High quality job. I like Lyra's subtle "Okay, this is really happening right now" face. The concept is great so kudos to Chigens and Kay for that.

 

As for an idea, IF you are comfortable with crossovers, it would be epic to no end if you draw Lyra driving Hound from Transformers in his Jeep form. Too. Cool.
