Most Or Least Likely To Eat Meat Besides Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy

Well, considering that Applejack has been shown to eat a bologna sandwich (thank you @Celtore), I think it is safe to say she is willing to eat meat. Though it could have been just an animation error.

Also, at 15:18 in Fall Weather Friends, Pinkie Pie starts mentioning a hot dog eating contest.

However, bologna and hot dogs could possibly be made with something else in Equestria, but who knows. Anyway, due to the above scenes, I think I'll go with either Applejack or Pinkie Pie being the ones to eat meat.

I say none of them would be likely to eat meat, other then maybe try it out of curiosity. Meat is unhealthy for a pony, their bodies are not meant to digest it. Unless you say, well my little ponies are different than real ponies...I guess you could argue that, but we have pretty good evidence that at-least most of the ponies in the show don't eat meat. In the human world maybe some of them would, but not in the pony world, even in the human world if you look at the cafeteria food it's all vegetables. I say the most likely is obviously Gilda and the wild animals that are natural carnivorous.

Ponies that would eat meat would probably have to be:

Applejack, because she lives on a dang ol' farm, they gotta fry up a penguin every now and again. So that'd mean everyone else plus applejack on that farm would more or less be a meat eatin', right thinking, regular amurican.

Along with Applejack and company, I'd say Scootaloo as well because Scootaloo wants to be Rainbow Dash.

Of course Pinkie Pie would eat meat because she simply just doesn't care. What better attitude about trying new food than just not giving a shit?

Obviously those Wonderbolts have to eat meat. They can't be flyin' and crap without some protein and whatnot. Who ever heard of kicking the sky's ass just by eating a freakin' salad? That's right, nobody.

Along with that you have all those violent woodland creatures that probably devour the nearest walrus they see, such as those parisprites and squirrels and rabbits n' crap.

Celestia probably eats meat as well being the absolute ruler of the known universe over there. Along with Celestia, I bet Luna, Princess Cadence and all them guards eat meat too. I mean really, who can defend a castle without some meat in their stomach? Here's how it'd go if they were nimby leaf eaters:

Guard: "Stop right there intruder!!"

Intruder: "LOL nope."
Guard: "Imma get you!"

Guard: "*begins to run* *runs outta energy due to no meat and falls over*

Intruder: "HA! *Points n' laughs*"

Who else am I forgetting? Well I guess the entire population of Appaloosa would qualify for meat eaters as well. I bet they enjoy a good steak every now and again.

I don't know about you, but I definitely think Trixie is the kinda pony who grills out every Friday night an uses intense amounts of barbecue sauce.

Everyone always forgets about that Doodle Donkey guy, I mean just look at him, I bet he enjoys the hell outta fried chicken.

And lastly, obviously our pal Rainbow Dash just stuffs her face with meat. She just looks like the type that just doesn't give a shit about the environment or anything besides her own needs n' stuff. and that is why I admire her the most.

I'm sure I forgot some ponies but hey, I do what I can. If there was ever a citizen's revolt in Equestria, we'd find out fast who ate meat and who didn't. Yep, that's because those leaf eatin' Priuses (Ha, Hybrid Toyota joke) would be the ones that were dead.

Your statement has alot of faulty logic's. Ponies bodies are made for eating just vegetables. They can't digest meat well, so eating meat would make them sick and could cause damage to their bodies. Strength and energy doesn't come from how much meat you it, it comes from eating healthy, also alot of vegetables have protein too, and horses don't need as much protein as carnivorous animals do to be healthy.

And if you're referring to humans. You'd be surprised, alot of athletes eat a vegetarian diet, because it is healthy. People with a healthy vegetarian diet are less likely to get certain diseases, don't have to worry about getting high food cholesterol that you can only get from eating animal products, they don't have to worry about being over weight, and don't have as many harmful chemicals in their food. You can have a healthy meat diet too, but it is common that meat eaters don't pay enough attention to their diet, like vegetarians and vegans who take extra care.

I believe this is conclusive evidence of her willing to eat meat. Also the fact that she's a farmer was the other basis I based this opinion on. As for the least likely, that would probably belong to Rarity or Pinkie Pie.

it could have been a veggie ham xp but yeah I remember seeing that, and find it odd..

Applejack seems like a very likely candidate simply due to her practical nature and tendency to think critically. Normally sure she probably wouldn't be inclined to eat meat at all, but if push come to shove or definitely if she was put into a survival situation AJ would definitely consider going carnivore.

And let's not get too preachy about the morals of meat eating. The major reason its controversial, (in Equestria at least), is because many animals that we otherwise would eat are sapient, namely the cows and sheep. We can't say that for sure about the pig, but there are certainly other animals far lower on the scale.

And just to set the record straight for those who think Fluttershy's too nice to kill, here's a reminder:

Judging by what I've seen in this cartoon I would say the writers eat meat so they wouldn't think about what ponies eat at all since they anthropomorphized them up to this point they would have them eating animal products without a care. I mean cakes are made of eggs and dairy to begin with but they don't think about this and treat the ponies like humans and have them eat those cakes because that appeals to a younger audience.

I think so too - I was going to say, this is a thought provoking question and I have perhaps an overly simplistic view of it - ponies would not normally be able to digest meat so it would probably make them ill. The point isn't labored during what episodes I've seen so far, BUT I have noticed enough subtle hints to indicate that their diet is indeed mainly / grass / hay / cereals / fruit based. (Except apples of course, which are not merely hinted at, but most obviously being eaten.) E.g. in one early episode (can't remember which one) a pony asks for, or gets, a "hay smoothie with extra hay". (Trixie?)

Yes it has bothered me slightly too that they also eat cakes and pastries which implies eggs as an ingredient? And ice cream, and so therefore also milk, cream, butter. (?) Ergo dairy cows on a pony farm is feasible, but a pig appears to have no purpose. Or is it simply that if you're a very young kid watching the cartoon and it shows a farm yard, you'd be expecting to see the familiar sorts of farm animals in it? Maybe that's all there is to it.
