I liked Rarity and Fluttershy the best in the movie. When all the animals bundle into Fluttershy's back pack that was adorable.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia:

Scrumpy is cider made in the West Country of England,[1] particularly a band through Devon, Somerset, Gloucestershire and Herefordshire, though it may also be found in Kent, Sussex and East Anglia. The term is especially used to distinguish those made locally in smaller quantities and using traditional methods from mass-produced branded ciders.

I liked Sunset Shimmer the most. Not really so much because of her personality or her "mean girl" role in the movie but becuase I love her design and her back story is so interesting! I would love to see her (pony form) in the show some day.

Who are your favorite humans in the movie?

I love Pinkie Pie, but Fluttershy was fantastic in this movie.  To quote Evilina:

"Fluttershy is the cutest!"

Brohoof to anypony that knows who Evilina is.

Pinkie Pie was wonderfully absurd as always, and Fluttershy's general timid demeanor was endearing as always.

Also, the human design looked the prettiest on her. Just look at these screenshots:

Downright beautiful and adorable.

Really? Who doesn't know about Satan's lovely little hellspawn?

My favorite main character was actually.... no not Applejack, (gasp!) but Sunset Shimmer. I've never been one to hate on the jerk, especially if she's got something funny to say, and even though Sunset was pretty generic, she was still a lot of fun to watch. I really liked her 'badgirl' design, and I think she has enough depth and potential that I would like to see her again. Mane Six were all excellent too. Twilight was probably my second favorite due to her character growth. Pinkie Pie was hilarious as usual, especially with her fourth wall breaking. Rarity was lovable and really came through with a great plan. Rainbow Dash's soccer dominance and her awesomeness in general was a highlight. Fluttershy had some classic quotes and really stole the show when she first showed up. Applejack... was slightly less memorable than I would have liked being that she's my fave, but AJ was still the pony I know and love. Seeing her carry a table more efficiently than two guys was hilarious. Anytime AJ's strength is displayed, I am happy. I also liked how she stood up to Sunset without any fear. I love how she can be so aggressive and confrontational when she feels she's right. Spike had some great moments too, but alas, he's not a human.

Best supporting characters were the Crusaders. Seeing them bop up and down listening to their CMC theme song was really cute. The fact that they were so concerned with the comments on their song as well as their reactions to it were so in-character. It was a nice nod to The Show Stoppers, one of my favorite season 1 episodes. Flash Sentry takes a close second for playing a fairly important, but not too memorable role.

My favorite minor character was Trixie. "The Great and Powerful Trrrriiixie... Needs some peanut butter crackers."  tongue.png

My favorite would Rarity and Twilight Sparkle as humans. They both looked incredibly gorgeous. Applejack looked pretty good, too.

Pinkie Pie. I would marry her if she were real. X3

I mean, isn't she sooo adorable?

By the way, on topic, I also love her appearance in EqG. Even though her skin is kinda pink, she looks a lot like a real human to me. I love her personalities. I really need someone like that in my life.

the moment that trixie showed up in front of the vending machine, was honestly my favorite part of the movie, they did not portray her as evil, i thought that she was super well placed, and then there was pinkie.....STILL BEING A TOTAL BOSS!

In the regular show, it's always a tough choice for me to pick a favorite pony between Twilight Sparkle, Pinkie Pie, and Fluttershy. But I think as far of EqG goes I decided to go with Pinkie Pie. Fluttershy was a close second.

The one out of the mane 6 I liked least in the movie was actually... Rainbow Dash. I love Rainbow Dash, but she just stood out the least for me as a character in EqG. Part of this might have been that she has the latest appearance in the movie. Also, her human version just has terrible dress sense (which does seem fitting, now that I think about it).

For supporting, CMC hands down. I loved their scene in the Library.

Went with Vinyl Scratch for minor character. People say she and Derpy are overated, but I don't care. Vinyl's just plain awesome.

  • Pinkie Pie. Pretty much the same reasons I love her as a pony, but added merit to her role as a human is for her translation to EqG's target audience. Truth be told, it's never possible to make friends with absolutely everyone, and going into high school Pinkie Pie's character needed to be altered to get that message done, just like Hasbro is with their accurate character designs. Pinkie Pie still knows everyone in school - which is great testament to her pony self - but she holds grudges on people this time around. I like that. It's the film's way of saying that high school doesn't carry the social bliss that Equestria does, which is very important for fans of both to note.

She also looked just as cute as her pony self <3 Way cuter than the others. Aside from Applejack, her skin colour was the only one that didn't detract from her human form and make her look ill. Her body language carried over from her pony form was very accurate; and she had some extremely cute facial expressions at times :)

  • Principal Celestia. It only needed two syllables to change it from "Princess Celestia" which was a fantastic coincidence. Just like her pony form, human Celestia carried the idea that the highest position of power isn't all fun and games; least of all when it involves receiving a completely clueless human Twilight. n.n I also like how Twilight interacted with Celestia knowing exactly who Celestia was, but Celestia not knowing who Twilight was. The bond going in one direction was lost, and I liked what they did with that.

  • Not much can be said for the minor humans. I'll give it to Trixie for the humorous vending machine scene that everybody loved.

I was honestly surprised with how much I liked Rainbow Dash in Equestria Girls. She isn't really one of my top favorite characters, but I like how she was portrayed in this movie, and she had a lot of great moments.

And I also loved Pinkie Pie as a human for many reasons. She had a great design, great moments, great expressions, great body expressions, and great everything.

As for secondary, I'll go with Cheerilee. Another surprise here. I'm not exactly a fan of her in the show, but she was really good in this movie.

Finally, for minor characters, I'll go with Mrs. Cake mainly due to the fact that I like her a lot in the show, and she was pretty funny in this movie.

My favorite character in Equestria Girls is Twilight Sparkle, all the mane 6 were fairly good in this but the focus was mostly on Twilight so it is granted an unfair comparison but still. Twilight is tied with Applejack and Luna for my favorite pony so isn't that much of a stretch for me, Twilight was the same Twilight we know and love in this movie and was actually hilarious.

I loved the part where Pinkie told everyone her "hunch". My theory is that she actually reached through the fourth wall and read the script. It made me literally ROTFL. So, pinkie. I think the same might have been why she said "It's like you've never held a pen before" lol

I liked Princepal Celestia. The one way thing between TS and her was perfect.

"The Great and Powerful Trrrriiixie... Needs some peanut butter crackers." need I say more?

Rainbow Dash was the best looking in my opinion. (That, and her human form was the cutest of the mane 6 if you ask me.)

The Cutie Mark Crusader humans were freaking adorable!!

Vinyl looked pretty badass. I would say Derpy, but I think Vinyl's human looked a lot better.

They all looked pretty dope though  B)

Rainbow Dash was quite surprising, I found her to be my favourite human out of them all. I don't know, I just enjoyed her character and overall design. Trixie was also awesome, her scene with the peanut butter crackers was pretty funny and her overall design was pretty good as well. Derpy wins quite a few points for her mere existence, just to note.

I actually really liked all of the main 6's design's Especially Dash's.

I don't really want to generate hate or anything, but I hated Celestia's and Luna's human forms. They looked so lazily made. And were just plain awful. I can't be the only one who thinks this.

Fluttershy

Rainbow Dash

Sunset Shimmer

Scootaloo

Fluttershy was so freakin' adorable and cute.

Rainbow Dash actually looked great. Probably my favorite. Which makes me glad, because I'm not too fond of her as a pony.

Sunset Shimmer is incredibly hot.

Scootaloo was cute as well. Too bad we only got 5 shots of her.

I loved Rarity's part within the film. CMC were also pretty neat to see in human form. Why are they still friends though wasn't the whole reason they were friends was because of a lack of Cutie Marks. Maybe they couldn't figure out what random symbol they should have stamped onto there clothing for the rest of their lives should be.

On another note, am I the only one that thinks that Derpy looks like she's one step away from being a zombie with that complexion of hers, lol.

They still seemed to be trying to find their special talents, even if they did not have Cutie Marks in the human world.

Or did they?  We never saw anyone's bare "flank."
