And one day you are having a walk in the evertree forest and you see Queen Chrysalis and King Sombra havig a bloody fight. King Sombra is about to kill Chrysalis.

what do you do?

Probably run like hell due to the fact that Sombra is out of prison.  I would also try to alert the authorities that he has somehow escaped.  What response were you looking to get?

I'd try to peg King Sombra's head with a rock. Queen Chrysalis is, in my opinion, not beyond redemption. King Sombra though, is evil incarnate. I'd try to help the queen as best I could, and hope that this would help show her the way to the magic of friendship!

I guess I would run for help and we could all take on Sombra together. I could try to lead him away from the Queen but then he might get me if I'm alone. That's why it's better to get a group.

If the Queen dies then the Changelings won't have a ruler and won't have any food. Since she specifically stated it's up to her to find food I know the Changelings did bad things, but I'm not EVIL LIKE SOMBRA! I wouldn't just let an entire species die of starvation or whatever. Plus I agree with the others. We could teach the Queen about the magic of friendship. Changelings along with Discord could also be great allies.

I'd probably die but I'd try and save Chrysalis, just so in the event that I actually am able to defeat sombra and save her, she might be my ally in adventuring, plus I'd show her and her changelings what hugs are. Let em hug a tree or something until it's packed with love, then said tree becomes a buffet! Fluttershy may not approve, but eh, rather 'em eat a tree than a creature right?

 

Plus I just really want to hang with Chrysalis, she seems so... metal.

I would approach Sombra and show him such a display if love and caring that Chrysalis would be able to eat him. Then when Sombra was defeted and Chrysalis was all glutted on love and unable to fight I would bash her face in with a two-by-four.

Run away as fast as my legs (or wings if I was a pegasus) could take me! There's likely no possible way I could take on either of them on my own. Even if I managed to distract Sombra, then what? If Chrysalis then manages to kill Sombra from that distraction, what do I do about her?

 

It wouldn't be brave to rush in to try to stop the fighting, it would be stupid.

I would throw a rock at him and run at the speed of a Kenyan while setting traps, Rambo style. After, I would become Chryssi's ally and friend for helping her, most likely. Then, willingly give her my love just to show I'm not an enemy or going to backstab her later on. I would serve her loyally. My life for the Queen!

I would jump towards Sombra while yelling "MY BEAUTIFUL QUEEN NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" whilst flailing my hooves hoping to knock Sombra out. No one hurts Queen Cheese-legs. 

 

Then I'll show Cheese-Legs how to be loved by others not through fear, but through appreciation. At least Chrysalis can  be helped become a better changeling. Plus, Chrys is way cooler than Sombra, we'll ride off into the horizon in my van while listening to some Maiden or Megadeth.

Save Chrysalis. Chrysalis isn't exactly evil. She did what she did in order to feed her subjects. Sombra enslaved the Chrystal empire. No justification for that. And I believe that Chrysalis can be turned good if she worked to earn the love and acceptance of Equestria, a long term strategy with big rewards, rather than cocoon everypony and leech off their emotions, something that's ultimately a short term solution.
