valete 195 August 18, 2013 Share August 18, 2013 (edited) Is there anything that you often do, but don't have to? Something that might annoy you if you didn't do it? I was reading this article for school just a while ago, and I found myself googling quite a lot of words that I either didn't know the meaning of, or simply forgot the meaning of. I know that context clues can be used and all, but for some reason, I always seem to need to know the meanings of each and every word of a sentence before continuing in what I'm reading! Earlier, I also saw certain topics concerning things that 'annoyed you' and 'weird and uncouth' things that people did. This topic might seem like it's a merged version of the two (I'm not sure). BUT, what you post here doesn't have to be weird, bad, annoying, etc. Maybe even something you find yourself doing on a daily basis that you perhaps don't know if other people do too? Something as simple as always locking a certain door could be one! If this seems too vague, repetitive, or unworthy as a topic, please do notify me. ...or just freeze it. It works both ways. Edit: I just saw another topic concerning people's 'worst habits', so I'm kinda wondering if I should turn this into a 'good' habit thread of sorts. Naught Important 434 August 18, 2013 Share August 18, 2013 Oh, I think I have one... I love to live a double life on the internet. Mostly as a male and female character, which kind of represents my bisexuality... I make the male character have all of the same traits I have, but I do change it around a bit for the female character. I also probably do this so I can feel like I am in love. Although, I do get way to emotionally attached to all characters I create anyway, no matter who they are... Forgive me if I didn't give a legitimate reply to this topic, I just thought that this is what we were talking about. 3 The extent of my interest is in things that don't exist. Or, at least, things that aren't in the basic man's senses
notdog1996 315 August 18, 2013 Share August 18, 2013 I bury every animal I see dead near my home. I think they deserve the respect to be put in the ground and not rot on the road. That's quite unusual. I just can't bring myself to leave them like that. I do my homework in advance. I prefer doing it now and not have to rush the night before giving it. I try to perfect the languages I learn at school (hence why I can be here, typing in English). I try to help people when I can Ex: When a little boy put his hand in a rooster's cage, I grabbed him before the rooster could peck him. I generally try to be nicer than I have to be. 3 INTJ Introvert(56%) iNtuitive(12%) Thinking(75%) Judging(1%) You have moderate preference of Introversion over Extraversion (56%) You have slight preference of Intuition over Sensing (12%) You have distinctive preference of Thinking over Feeling (75%) You have marginal or no preference of Judging over Perceiving (1%)
valete 195 August 19, 2013 Author Share August 19, 2013 Whenever I'm browsing deviantart for any set of pictures that I haven't searched for before, I make it a point to open each and every photo that could be worthy of a download. ...I end up opening tons of tabs because of the suggestions I see at the lower right. I also get annoyed if my notes for school are incomplete, and I tend to leave blank pages on my notebooks so that I can perhaps place the missing notes there when the time comes. It takes forever sometimes, and it makes a bit disconcerted. I guess it just has something to do with wanting to be 'complete' in some way. ~Silver Essence~ 2,625 August 19, 2013 Share August 19, 2013 (edited) Living a somewhat double life here on the forums. In here, I'm unique, nice, friendly and overall better. Outside however, I'm more dark, emotionless, and a bit shadow like. Edited August 19, 2013 by DXSilverX

valete 195 August 19, 2013 Author Share August 19, 2013 Living a somewhat double life here on the forums. I also find myself being different online. There are times where I feel like I wouldn't have said something IRL, when I've already said it online at some point.

True, and that's because here on the forums, you have more liberty and expression of what you can say. So glad your doing more better here.
GhostPony750 959 August 19, 2013 Share August 19, 2013 I do every single things at last minute. Even huge projects I need to hand over the next day. A because of this I hate working in teams because everyone wants to get rid of it the first day.
Mutemutt 773 August 26, 2013 Share August 26, 2013 When I'm trying to go to sleep and a question pops up in my head, I have to get up and find the answer or else my mind will keep wondering what the answer is and keep me up all night. I have a ton of alarms set for earlier than I need to wake so that I can wake up and promptly go back to sleep again. There's something about being able to "sleep in" that I just like, I guess. I sit seiza style when I sit on the floor (pretty often) no matter what I'm wearing. My family loves to point it out all the time. I'm not even sure when or how it started. It's not a very comfortable position but it happens to be my default floor sitting position for some reason.
Dan Loves You 38 August 27, 2013 Share August 27, 2013 I feel like I have to close every single door that I open, in order. I also like to brush my teeth at any opportunity I get... I guess I like having fresh breath.

I'm kinda the same, except that I get ideas at night instead. It bugs me a lot if I don't get to list it down because forgetting about the idea in the morning would annoy me even more. Lunas Husband 2,777 October 25, 2013 Share October 25, 2013 I cant sleep without a fan going and oddly I cant go to the bathroom with out a fan on too... When I go to sleep I don't move at all... and most of the time it looks like I'm dead "Does not matter what they say, my sweet love! I love you! and always will." ~Princess Luna
