Because the E-Wing Starfighter from Star Wars was involved in battling the post-Endor reformed Galactic Empire's World Devastators on Dak (Admiral Ackbar's home world).  The craft was introduced in Dark Empire (the comic where Emperor Palpatine has clones and Boba Fett survived digestion).  Han Solo gave some rookie rebel pilots a tutorial of the starfighter while Chewbacca was constructing one of them.  E-Wing is one-of-a-kind with its 3 laser cannons and has an R7 astromech droid concealed behind the cockpit of the starfighter as the 3rd laser cannon sits over it.  Assumed as the same speed of the X-Wing.  Has some cool secondary weapons.

Because behind the cute childish free spirit hides a destructive combative monster that is trying to escape... I relate to Lucy probably almost more than any other character... Definitely toward the top, the persecution and jealousy, and insecurity and fear, and unfair ridicule, I understand the feeling of living in a duality that is impossible to just ignore, one that can destroy yourself or others at any given moment.. I love this character. I know the feeling. Elfen Lied may be the best anime if it wasn't such needless gore porn at times....
