Would You Voice Act?

I really really really want and would love to do voice acting, but I'm rubbish at imitating and doing voices other than my own.

I would, but I honestly have no idea what characters I would be able to voice.  But if DHX contacted me, I would be willing to do it in a heartbeat.  How many people are going to be able to honestly say they got to voice characters in a cartoon, let alone one of their favorite cartoons?

Sure. It sounds like fun. I would like to give a male character a voice though. The could use at least one character with a y chromosome that isn't one dimensional, or what ever snips and snails are.

i would and probobly if i had a chance i would be either lyra or cogate they seem like ponies that would sound good for me so i think i would DEFIANTLY take the chance

Probably not, since my voice isn't among the best ones, eventhough some random people tend to say they like it. At the end I don't really like the way it sounds. So I'd rather give that oportunity to someone capable enough to fit into such kind of job.

If I liked my voice a lot more, I would, but for now, No, And My voice isn't the best at changing, so I don't know how I'd go. So, it's a no for now, not sure how it'd go in the future.

HELL YES. I would love to do that. I could imagine myself as a narrator/villain of sorts in VAs. I would even have a mic to do so. Sometimes i actually read stuff to people in skype/TS. Maybe ill give it a try sometime in some smaller project.

I wouldn't voice act. It sounds like something that's fun to do, but my voice is very bad and not good in the slightest. That's the truth. That and I am too shy to do something like that. Not my cup of tea.

I would love to voice act!  It'd probably have to be a changeling or something though, because my voice is pretty gross after I had throat surgery.  XD

I might get back into it, but I don't have the voice range that a lot of pro voice actors need in order to get roles. Case and point... that Mr Poniator video, which I had a hard time getting the voice right for.

Oh my gosh, totally!! What an honour! Even if it was just a small part, I'd still be over the moon to have a part in the show - the show I love. Maybe, if I was good enough, I could voice bigger parts! I love voice acting :3

I'd like to but it seems rather complicated for big roles due to the complexity of voice acting. You have to really make your voice sound unique so it's memorable and appealing to hear and that's easier said than done.

 

One speaking lines are kind of pointless and would be forgotten easily.

oh yeah, definitely! I can do a whole bunch of voices if they wanted! I've never really shown me voice acting all that much cause I'm not entirely sure how to fix the quality on either my mic, or on audicity...but yeah, I'd love to voice act!

I'd give it a shot, but truth be told, subtlety's not one of my stronger points when it comes to my voice. All the various accents and inflections I use would be best described as...horribly over-the-top. Although depending on what I was VAing for, that could work in my favor.
