What pets do you think Luna and Chrysalis should have?

A thought occurs; if Celestia has a pet Phoenix, then what pets should Luna and Chrysalis have?

 

With Luna, I was thinking something along the lines of a black cat. Chrysalis, I was thinking maybe a raven, a crow? Or is that too cliche? How about a flying monkey? Or how about a giant chameleon or salamander she feeds her failing Generals and soldiers to? The possibilities are endless.

Luna should have a black cat, since all cats stay indoors so she would be able to have some company while she is playing video games. Chrysalis could have, I don't know a pet that can feed on love.

Chrysalis might want a pet closely associated with arthropods since Changlings look like a cross between a pony and insects.

 

Like a giant tarantula or a giant egg injecting wasp.

Chrysalis would obviously have an Ant Farm. While Luna would probably have something that was somewhat similar to a Phoenix, so I'm saying something like a Thunderbird, which is a supernatural creature that is considered important to many Native American groups.

Chrysalis's pet should be a hopelessly romantic pony, who thinks Chrysalis is redeemable. She "repays" his forgiveness by mercilessly manipulating him to love her, and then draining said love in a vicious, ongoing cycle. He should eventually be rendered so weary that he can't struggle against the leash she has him on. (And she should refer to him as "pet".)

I really think Luna should have a sloth and Chrysalis a narwhal. Why? sloths are mysterious and quiet like Luna and Narwhal are sly and evil like the Queen.

I was gonna say a black cat too, due the magic traits this little animals use to have, specially the black ones. But it has to be a cuddly one since I think Princess Luna is quite a sensitive pony inside, even If she doesn't show up herself this way very often.

Regarding Queen Chrysalis, I think her means were not the correct ones, even If her goal was meant to help her own people. So I would like her to have a pet with some kind of leech traits, but it has to be an insectoid. Maybe a humongous black widow. A creature that doesn't mind to sacrifice others in order to help her own spawns.

Like others have said, I think a black or dark purple cat would be nice for Princess Luna.

As for Queen Chrysalis, I don't really know. It's odd to have her have a bug since she is very similar to a bug herself. Something related to love would be nice, I guess. Then again, there is this bug called a "Lovebug", but it's kind of weird looking.

Chrysalis: Giant cockroach. Or perhaps a lovebird, but only if she's going to be redeemed some whichaway, because nobody could hate her after finding out about it.

 

Luna: Turritopsis nutricula, aka immortal jellyfish. Because she needs something that will last more than a few years, and it would be funny to have a pet that small (4.5mm)

For Chrysalis I would suggest a puppy. Seeing as Changelings feed on love, it would suit her well.

It can resist to many things, it's an insect, and feed on food you leave behind.

I can very well see a bat for Luna, I know it is, and for chrysalis, if I'm correct,  possibly a leech? Since they both suck something like love and blood?
