Anyone here watch European Football?

This used to be a big topic for discussion among me and my friends once tongue.png The unwritten rule of football is that you have to support one single team, sure, but some people just want to watch it unfold without total devotion to a single team and competitive aspect of things n.n One of those people is my brother, he supports Arsenal like me but he doesn't mind certain other teams winning.

Yeah there are certain teams you'd be fine with winning, just not your teams rivals xD Example, if Liverpool were playing against Southhampton, I'd prefer Southhampton to win!

Man I don't even watch or pay attention to football anymore, I used to be such a football fanatic and now I don't really care for it... so Why am I getting involved in this thread? xD

Haha! You just made my day, cheers for that mate xD Though I guess you're right, I mean if my brother and my dad sat down to watch an important match with a couple of beers, I'd be happy enough to join them! It's a good atmosphere when your team is playing, y'know? :P

I have chortles at the delicious grilled cheese sandwiches that is the 1-0 victory of Arsenal vsTALhM.png .

 

Sorry. I just had to make a Fawful reference derpy_emoticon2.png . I don't hate Spurs too much; I even managed them to 3rd place in Football Manager once, finishing ahead of Arsenal.

XD That's like whenever I play FIFA '09 with my fiance, I'm always Chelsea cuz he of course supports Spurs too and always takes them. :P My little brother supports Arsenal (the clue is in the NAME! XD) and is used by now to being constantly punched (not so much now) by my other brother and myself.

As long as no one likes Real Madrid, we're all sorta friends here. I despise Real Madrid. Also started to dislike Barcelona lately. Some Barca fans get on my nerves. But Real Madrid, oh man don't get me started on them.

Manchester derby today.. What does everyone think? Should be a great afternoon of football and I think there will be plenty of goals..

I think it will be pretty interesting. I personally think it would end in a draw, but I wouldn't go beyond a City win.

Now that I've seen the team I would say a city win, No RVP for united is bad news for them and I think that they will miss him today, I could be wrong though.

Gunners just won 3-1 with three set pieces! My parents had to tell me to stop shouting after each goal xD.

 

We're at top of the table, but I hope Tottenham don't win today :P

Update: Just as I predicted. Manchester City beat up the Crap Red Devils real good. And DAMN IT! Tottenham got away with the win today! They were about to get the draw too!

Lol, yes. XD Almost as much fun as the time I watched the match where Spurs beat Man United... and this was while Fergie was still in charge and it was all the sweeter.

Is this regarding a certain Liam Bridcutt? XD He's been a great player for us but I think that he will move on sooner or later unfortunately.. He is too good to be in the championship!

It's been a joy to watch him develop and become the player he is now. I won't hold anything against him leaving if he does, he deserves his chance at the big time!

Sadly my team Norwich haven't been in Europe for a looonnnnggggg time. But I still watch most European games. We might be back there soon!...... I can at least have dreams XD

He's in for it now, Sandro is after him!

There needs to be more fans like this who want players to grow and better themselves.

When I hear fans booing ex-players who end up playing against them I feel disgusted.

Unfortunately we are few and far between these days, which is sad..

I watch it sometimes.  :)  I honestly can't say I watch it with a "fervour", but I do tune in to World Cup matches and other football action from time to time. 

 

I didn't get to see it but Manchester United played the Philadelphia Union in an exhibition not too long ago and the Union wasn't even in their league.  :P
