Should Star Swirl the Bearded appear in season 4?

Star Swirl was apparently the most powerful unicorn to ever live, and we haven't seen him once.  There's a pretty good fan design for him:

 

But I want to see him on the show.  A flashback, time travel, or at least a picture.  Star Swirl sounds like the only thing in Equestria that was ever as awesome as Rainbow Dash.

I really want to know more about Star Swirl, but the show will try to elaborate more on his life and maybe have him appear in an episode.

I think that there should be an episode with him. perhaps in a flashback of a twilight-centered episode. or where she goes back in time and studies under him a bit. now THAT would be awesome, imo.

I think he has been talked about so much that he will surely appear in some form. It would be really interesting to see that happen. Especially since we don't know that much about him. I also hope that he won't appear in a flashback because it would be cool to see him interact with the mane 6 (especially Twilight) Princess Celestia and Luna.

No matter why he failed, but his work was of high relevance for Twilight's ascension and we know nearly nothing about him. Just remember that book. Maybe his whole story is even strongly connected to Celestia and Luna's, so it would be a good chance to show some kind of history-episode. He's actually the character I want to know about the most, now that I think about it.
