This argument's still going on? I thought I settled it back on the first page. -_- Rarity is the 1%. She'd never make it. Fluttershy's too scared to be anything more than secretary of something. Really, Twilight's our best choice, even if she isn't perfect.

I wouldn't trust Twilight. She broke down and did whatever she could to cause a problem. With her as president this could get out of hand

Twi def. She's extremely knowledgeable, she consistently displays strong leadership capabilities, she respects traditions and other social institutions, she's faithful and gentle, yet always with a strength inside...

 

AJ in second, because she knows economics! She knows how to accomplish a task. She's confident and skilled. If anything, she'd work too hard.

January 22 2012- President Pinkamena Diane Pie fulfills one of her campaign promises and begins the first country-wide nonstop party.

 

January 23 2012- Crime grinds to a halt as the nonstop party gives free snacks and drinks to everyone. As well as prize give-aways, and more. Every US citizen is happy and content.

 

January 24 2012- Vice President Gummy gives speech in Orlando. Leaves the masses crying tears of joy.

 

January 26 2012- Power failures everywhere due to low work force and excessive use for lights, stereo systems, etc.

 

January 27 2012- Various businesses suffer record losses in revenue as few to no workers come, and purchasing for products such as 'paper clips', 'staplers', and 'combustible lemons' suffer record drops.

 

January 28 2012- Wildfires happen in southeast USA due to inappropriate use of fireworks.

 

January 29 2012- Sex scandal involving Senator Madame Le' Flour and Congressman Rocky causes riots in New Jersey.

 

January 29 2012- Riots begin breaking out across the country, destroying buildings such as the Empire State Building, Sears tower, and a Quaker Oatmeal factory. When asked her stance on this, President Pinkamena Diane Pie simply replies "Oatmeal, are you crazy!"

 

January 30 2012- Rioters get a hold of nuclear weapons.

 

February 1 2012- World is left in a nuclear winter. Everything is dead, dying, or looking like something from Fallout 3. President Pinkamena Diane Pie is currently in a hidden location in a foreign country.

I voted for Twilight, as she's highly intelligent, dedicated to making the best decision, and a great organiser.

 

Rainbow Dash can be Secretary of the Air Force, Rarity can design any and all uniforms, and Fluttershy can run the Peace Corps.

 

Pinkie Pie and Applejack... well... they get to vote, I guess.

 

Oh there will be parties with Pinkie 24/7....just not like what you expect :L

Yeah, that's one of the Mane concerns I have with Twilight being president. I mean, she would solve all the worlds problems, slowly go insane, and then nuke herself so she could to to war with herself, then enter delicate negotiations with herself, and sign a peace treaty with herself.

Presidents? This is Equestria, either the whole mane 6 become the leader, or Celestia never dies out.

 

Well, the element of Loyalty is the best way to gain votes from the common people, depending on the country you're in, so Rainbow Dash gets my vote for temporary president. For crises, we are going to need a headstrong leader than can make everything 20% cooler and make everyone solve the problem.

And lets face it, we have thousands of those already in America. (Not to Trixie, but of other people.) So having a few dedicated for a pony wouldn't be so different.

I think Twilight would be the best for president (Prime Mnister here in Canada ) as she is a smart and logical pony. She always tries to make the smartest decision (And sometimes it leads to harm) She loves to help others, and is loyal to her friends, and would be subjects in this situation She is also well organised and presentable. So I think she would be a good leader, even though she may start a war with someplace else.
