The solution is fairly simple and doesn't require much of that tiring work: star a scientific revolution.

 

Prove AT LEAST one big scientific fact and use it to attack the Princesses and the Mane 6. Surely, the Scientific Revolution would become a literal revolution when it becomes a conflict of science against magic. 

 

Of course, to ensure that it doesn't end, I'll have to come up with some new scientific, atheist, and democratic belief that would fire up the revolution even more. Exploit the war, force them to take up some kind of resource, and monopolize the economy.

Ok there are no longer EoH so my plan needs some revision so is probably easier.

Invade Equestria with light infantry and tanks. Take Appleloosa first because it's a wild west town and has no decent communication (I reject your canon and substitute my own) set up AA guns and clip all pegasi wings to ensure no escaped pows.

Send and infiltration team to get a feather from all four Alicorns and use their DNA to begin work on an Alicorn human hybrid.

Once field tests are complete use the formulae to make more shock troopers and refine the formulae for a more overpowered "personal" formulae. Capture the mane 6 first so the campaign proceeds unopposed cuz much as I don't wanna say it BOTH princesses are canon useless. Not just Tia.

Well, I'm not really going to argue about revolutions. I agree with a fact that very few of these revolutions actually brought a actual democratic government to the country. 

When trying to take over Equestria, I believe that you need to gain the trust of the population, without the peoples support, your power is weakened. So there forth, it would best to try to make a actual democratic country then have everyone against you. Unless you are like Stalin, who scared his country into submission.

Either a actual revolution, or one that scares everypony into submission.

1. Send distractions and hide in the shadows while you create Havoc all over Equestria.

2.This will attract the attention of everyone, meanwhile I'll attack them on their soft spots.

3.Many children are captured, so I hide them only where I know.

4.I attack the bigger preys, the Alicorns. Suck their energy since they can't banish me or kill me, only I know where are the children.

5.I am at my most powerful. Nothing stands chance against me. I send the elements into a time-portal, where they will not appear until the future.

6.The Mane 6 are useless, the Alicorns are weak, and Discord can't do nothing against Darkness.

7. I let Darkness consume them and their world, that slowly is turning into a Universe where the shadows domain.

8. Succeeded on my plan. I travel to another Universe to do the same.

2. I would act good. I would befriend ponies and and gain their trust. They would never expect me to do anything bad.

    

3. I would forge Princess Celestia's penmanship and send letters to other nations being sure to anger them. 

    

4. I would then make an offer to Queen Chrysalis and have her pretend to be Princess Celestia and give false reports of how other nations were talking bad about Equestria.

    

5. I would watch Equestria destroy itself, capture Queen Chrysalis and prevent her from using magic, get the Changelings in the battle and make everyone fight their friends too because they might be changelings. 

    

6. Then I would kill the powerful ponies while they stand no chance.

    

7. Then after the war ends, if there's anyone left, I would rule them and rule the world. 

    

8. They wouldn't have any idea that it was I who did all that.

I would subtly introduce cultural changes through popular media that would seem beneficial at first but would each cause additional problems when implemented by the ignorant masses. As these problems compile, I would declare Celestia unable to deal with the new slew of problems and propose my own solutions if I was in charge. The ponies would oust Celestia and willingly adopt me as their new leader, expecting me to solve all the problems. I instead would implement policies to make them more dependent on my help, until I am running every aspect of their lives and have them THANKING me for it. That's evil.

If the real me was a villain in Equestria? ... I'd probably be a lot like Evil Omi from Xiaolin Showdown. ...What?! I never said I'd make a GOOD villain.

I know, that sound like a cop out answer, but it's true! I never liked villains, so if I had to be one, I wouldn't know where to begin without being spastic and completely nonthreatening.

 

Furthermore, I have a go-to fan character named Samurai Equine. The samurai class is known for their loyalty to the emperor. In other words, my fan character would have to be given an order from Celestia to do evil things before he would even consider being evil. I guess that means Celestia would have to be evil first in order for my fan character to be evil...
