Evil, overpowered, immortal, alter ego etc Tyrant Celestia from an evil Equestria universe, controls many of her subjects with mind control. 

 

Would you surrender your free will or rather die? If the event there's only a few thousand Humans left on Earth after Celestica killed billions of them with magic and cloned hordes of Ponies.

 

Tyrant Celestia has given you the chance have your race spared, but you must sacrifice your free will and all become mindless drones to Tyrant Celestia. You will all worship her as a god and will be devoid of independent thought.

 

Or would you rather die, than live as a mindless slave?  Tyrant Celestica says in response "SO BE IT!" in a Harbinger like a voice from Mass Effect just before she blasts your body to dust and kills what's left of Humanity afterwards.

Celestia is one of those rulers who is so sneaky that she can make you give up your free will while making you think its YOUR idea.

 

Tyrant Celestia is the same. Only now she gains the options [cloak & dagger] and [silent witnesses] to her political options. xD

Plus, the idea of worshiping her as a god.. no. Just no. Death would be preferable to being forced to renounce my already existing faith for that.

Death. Normally I would say live to fight another day, take her down from within, but if she's using mind control, I would rather die and be one less servant at her beck and call.

I guess I'll go with becoming a servant. When I think about this, I know death is the nuclear option. I choose it, I stand to lose absolutely everything. It truly is a difficult question, but knowing how bloody terrified I'd be in such a moment, self preservation would kick in.

 

Who knows, maybe brainwashed Celtore might live a happy life. Living in complete ignorance, yes, but I wouldn't really notice anything wrong or different.

I would surrender, even without need, when Celestia starts her conquest, I am one of the first to change sides. A life as such a tyrant's slave would be better than my current life, maybe.
