movies/tv What's your favorite superhero movie?

Movies cover a lot of genres and do them either well or not. Super heros are well known for both their comics and their appearences in other forms of media, especially on the big screen. For this thread, you can choose any favorite superhero movie that you like the most. Doesn't matter if they come from comics or not, it can be any. And just to make it easier, I'll make it any movie based on a comic or a graphic novel.

Mine would be:

- The Dark Knight (2007)

- Watchmen (2009)

- Spiderman 2 (2004)

-  Ironman (2007)

- The Incredibles (2004)

- The Avengers (2012)

But then there's the evil decepticons want to  destroy our world they despise everything we humans stand for plus it got lots of action !

Incredibles is my pick.  The humor is top notch and I consider it one of the funniest I've seen.  It also balances loads of dark content, and for these reasons it is my favorite.

Comic Book superhero movie:  The Dark Night because, well it's the Dark Night.  Heath Ledgers performance is amazing.  It is one of my favorite films.

Batman: Under the Red Hood:

This movie is amazing, and I think I may like it more than The Dark Knight trilogy. It's just so good, and it's a shame it isn't too famous. It covers very interesting topics and themes, and the characters are so good. It's even a little sad.

The Dark Knight:

Another amazing movie. I love how dark (no pun intended) this movie is, and it has a nice gritty nature to it. Plus, it gets an excellent portrayal of The Joker from Heath Ledger.

The Dark Knight Rises:

I actually like this film a bit more than The Dark Knight. I like some of the newer characters, and the story is a bit more interesting to me. But what I love about this movie is Micheal Caine's performance as Alfred. He really shined in this movie. The ending in this movie was fantastic as well.

Kick-Ass:

This was an entertaining movie that was actually pretty funny, and I just liked it a lot. I don't really have a lot to say about it.

"The Amazing Spider-Man"...yes, you heard me correctly.

I don't usually watch superhero movies but I did enjoy "The Amazing Spider-Man".

I plan on watching "The Dark Knight" trilogy eventually though. I also liked "Kick-Ass" a bit, but I don't remember much from it.

So far, I'd have to say Thor, The Amazing Spiderman and the first Ironman from 2007 are my favorites. I also have a bit of a soft spot for The Avengers purely thanks to The Hulk being a fucking badass.

#1. The Avengers.

Four years and five films of build were finally worth the wait.

#2. The Dark Knight

Ledger's Joker.

#3. Ironman 2

#4. Thor

Tom Hiddleston, Chris Hemsworth, and Anthony Hopkin's were perfectly cast.

#5. Superman II

X-men Origins Wolverine. I really enjoyed this movie!

Wolverine. The one that came out this year, where he's in Japan. A lot of people I know didn't like it, but I enjoyed it a lot myself.

The Amazing Spider Man. I felt like Peter Parkers character was portrayed a lot better in this movie than in the Spiderman trilogy. Also, Emma Stone was in it...yay!

All 3 of the Iron man movies were freakin' awesome in my book!

The Amazing Spiderman. Compared to the Sam Ramey ones, they captured Spidey's wisecracking sense of humour much better, and actually got it right that he made the webshooters, rather than having them develop as mutations. The Iron Man series and Avengers (or Avengers Assemble depending on country) are also high up there.
