Which pony would you prefer in a time of need?

I would say rarity she seems like the kind of pony that would know exactly what to say in a time of need and could cheer me up.

My choice is Rarity as well. Not only is she my favorite, but seeing as how she can tell when someone doesn't feel the best (Sonic Rainboom and Lesson Zero), I think she would be good at comforting me and others.

when has apple jack experienced this it hasn't been confirmed that her parents died but then again it is kinda implied and i doubt Hasbro would show death in a show about colored ponies that talk and use magic

For them not to be at the Apple Family Reunion is one pretty big 'implied' if you ask me. Even if they weren't dead there at least be a scene like a letter saying the couldn't come or AJ or Applebloom being at least abit sad about it.

 

As a matter of fact. When Granny Smith is leafing though the photo album, do we even see them in those pictures, I can't remember off the top of my head.

I'd probably pick Applejack, she seems like the go-to person for problem fixing. Twilight would also be a good pick seeing how she's always being confronted with ridiculous situations.

None. I get incredibly angry when I face grief, instead of sad. For this reason, I'd prefer not to be approached by anypony, as I wouldn't like hurting someone by something I said/did.

 

If I had to pick, Applejack, she seems to have the most down-to-earth kind of view on things and is perhaps the one best suited to understand.

When I'm in some emotional trouble, I really just need someone to listen more than anything. In such a situation, my first pick would be Fluttershy. Because when I'm stressed out or upset, I don't really need advice. I just need someone to be quiet and let me spill my heart. Usually, when I get someone to hush and listen to me when I'm feeling blue, I can just talk some sense into myself and decide to do better.

 

In real life situations, especially those that involve social matters, I'd go to Rarity. Don't know why. I just would.

I've also wondered if Scootaloo's inability to fly effects her ability to walk on clouds. flight is an magical power within all pegesi so both abilities are connected. If that were the case she couldn't live with her parents as she'd sink and fall from sky. Maybe her mother had to give her up because of this?

We are getting a bit off topic so lets wrap this up im 99.9% sure all pegasi can walk on clouds they are born with it so scootaloo probably could walk on clouds

Thats kind of the problem. I think pinkie pie might actually try too hard. she's try and make you feel better though would she take the time to actually find out why your down in the first place or even consider it?

I would prefer Raindow Dash out off all of them. Its hard for me to explain but she the type I prefer to be around when I'm down. I guess she just reminds me of old friends that were always there for me.

I'm going to go with Fluttershy. I've come to accept the reality of death over the years, what I would need at that point is just someone to be with that could comfort me in my grief. She is the element of kindness after all, and she would likely be able to help calm my emotions.

I would say Princess Celestia, her being one of the wises in Equestria, shes come to see just about all that needs to be seen in regards to losing a loved one... She would be able to give me words of comfort and how to move forward despite the tragedy.

Applejack without a doubt, Applejack has been through the grieving process before and knows what signs to look for, she knows when you would need to be comforted and when you would need your space. She was the first to know that something was up with Scootaloo in Sleepless in Ponyville.
