I personally love Christmas, it's my favorite Holiday. I thoroughly enjoy winter as well, so the snow, warm clothing, cold weather, and warm foods/drinks make me love Christmas even more. Call me a greedy fuck, but I also love getting presents, and I enjoy having Christmas dinner with family.

I love it because its Christmas. Its an excuse to throw gifts at the ones you love without being considered 'guilty of something' or 'being mad'. Don't listen to the hipsters who moan because everyone else loves it or that hate it because they hate society in general.

Christmas is Christmas, bitch.

Well Christmas is my favorite holiday. I have fond memories of Christmas growing up like waiting to get my family up to open presents and getting impatient in the process, the excitement of opening a present, the Christmas specials on TV and spending time with my i family.

I will say though it's probably the most commercialized holiday ever. Like the day before Halloween I already got a Christmas catalog in the mail or how a gym in my town already has their Christmas lights up. I also don't like how political correctness has tried to change the holiday. They said that Santa shouldn't say ho ho ho or that Santa shouldn't be fat. They can't just say that about a figure in our society for years.

So yeah I pretty much like it but not the commercialism of it.

I actually love the holiday. There is just something about it that gives off such a great atmosphere. I always loved the season of it and I always looked forward to getting something (Honestly, I still do. I am still a child at heart after all). The decorations, the positive atmosphere, it is so enjoyable. I don't celebrate the religious aspect of it (I could go on and on about how that portion of it is very odd) so even that is a non-factor. I just love the holiday, one of the few that I actually do anymore. Also, it is during Winter, my favorite season. :)

My only problem is what Chikorita said as well, the commercialism of it. It seems many companies don't even try to hide their greed when it comes to it. I know that they exist to make money, but they could at least try to not make us all look like mindless sheep. Sadly, there is a decent chunk of society that is.

So, I love the holiday.

The only thing, the ONLY thing I don't like about Christmas is having to listen to Christmas music every single day from November until who knows when.

There's only so many times you can listen to that stuff before you go insane. Those in retail, I can only hope you survive it all.

I voted other. The only thing I like about Christmas is getting presents. I don't really like Christmas because people feel like you should become nicer and donate just because its in the "holiday spirit". You should do that ALL year not just around Christmas and you shouldn't do it just because its in the "holiday spirit". I don't want to get too much into religious purposes but its pagan so theres that too. Also I hate the fact that Christmas exists just so companies can get more money.

I suppose its nice that families can get together around Christmas and be together so theres one redeeming quality about it. I also like the general atmosphere around Christmas although I feel like that atmosphere should be around all year. I don't like my family that much so thats why I only like Christmas for getting presents. I sound greedy and selfish but who doesn't like getting presents?

Well, I'm not allowed to celebrate Christmas so I guess I don't really have an opinion of it. Of course I highly appreciate what gifts I get from my friends, and winter vacation is always a plus. All in all though, Christmas is really just a normal day for me. :T

I love Christmas mainly because I get to spend the entire day with my brothers. I don't necessarily care about presents. I just care about seeing them and having a blast. Being together with my family and forgetting about all our troubles just for one day so we can have a wonderful time together. It's very nice. That's why I love Christmas. :)

I love Christmas, everyone in the family getting together. Having a good time, I don't think as much about the presents as I did before. It's more just enjoying the holiday. Drinking hot chocolate, watching it snow outside just being at home enjoying being inside the house. Then drive around town to see the Christmas decorations. Listening to Christmas music, I love everything about it. But I kind of dislike the snow, as long as you just stay inside it's okay.

It's definitely one of my favorite holidays if not my number one favorite.

Well for me it really is the most wonderful time of the year :D. The season of Die Hard marathons and Christmas themed movies. When the commercialism we seem to hate so much in everyday life runs rampant and we still cheer it on for some reason. The time when everybody is forgiving and usually is in high spirits, when the holiday cheer gets me and my friends and we couldn't give a sh*t about anything else but having fun and what we get for Christmas :D. I can see why it can be stressful or unenjoyable for some people but I look forward to it every single year :D!

I love Christmas! It's one of the best occasion to celebrate with our family, and since mine is huge, I have like 3 christmas suppers! biggrin.png So we have fun, talking and drinking. I personally don't talk too much, but I enjoy watching the others do, I learn a lot of the personality of the members of my family.

So yep, it's my favorite holiday. The only thing that bothers me is the gifts. It's great, but it's way too materialist. My parents always end up buying me stuff I won't use... like a cellphone last year.

I love Christmas, I've always liked trimming the tree, having a nice Christmas dinner, getting money and stuff (Eeyup, I'm not afraid to admit it). There's just something about the Holiday Season that brings out so much joy inside of me. I also like Thanksgiving and New Year's.

First of all it's "Christmas" not Xmas. What in the hoof is that?!

"Christmas" is a beautiful holiday where the season is in it's finest. It's about love and sharing and honoring what it really means. Not just presents. Give a gift and feel delight and not to expect anything in return.

Xmas is not really something I like too much.

(Halloween is better)

The only things I really like about christmas are trees and gingerbread.

Its nice to see people happy and such for a change.

(wrighting this makes me remember the time with KRL....THE HORROR....)

I absolutely adore the Christmas season. Presents are awesome when you get them but even if not I love the music (I sing it all year round), atmosphere, decorations (though I hate putting them up myself biggrin.png ), TV specials and movies, all types of Christmas fanart...Such a lovely time of year.

Commercial Christmas is my thang. Don't much care about spending time with family though. Also don't celebrate Christmas for religious reasons at all. I don't care what it's origins are, commercial and religious are two different Christmas' and I practice the former.

I don't like it very much.

I always feel like there's something wrong with me because I'm never as happy as everyone else, which always ends up making me feel even more depressed.

Plus, all media surrounding it seems to be based around the fact that if you don't enjoy Christmas, that automatically makes you a bad person.

Naturally, I love any celebration of the Winter Solstice (well, aside from the Mesopotamian's 'celebration'... That was pretty brutal).

I'm not anywhere near as much into Christmas as I was several years ago and before, though. It has certainly lost that "magical" feeling that it had when I was a kid. But that's okay... I still love decorated pine trees, pretty lights, and candy canes just as much.

You are not alone there are alot of people that get depressed on Christmas and many other major holidays. I try to stay positive as there are plenty of people that no one and nothing but Christmas is not the same as it used to be because so many family have died that even the best Christmas is just okay.

LOVE Christmas. I love the idea of it. I like buying things and giving them out. Its fun. (Though, you out ta be kind and return the damn favor haha) plus I love the snow, movies, games, and anticipation. Though, Black Friday DOES piss me off. Honestly, I was almost run over.

Now if only they stuck to one holiday at a time. Ugh, IT IS THANKSGIVING MONTH. DO THAT BEFORE CHRISTMAS. Seriously. October:THANKSGIVING. End of October:CHRISTMAS.

Vacation, fun with family, in all I love Christmas.

What does bugs me is how commercialized it is. I mean do we really need everything decorated for christmas in f***ing Labor Day?

I love Christmas. Perfect time to get together with friends and family. I actually even enjoy Christmas shopping. Every year the tree goes up on Thanksgiving, and Christmas music starts playing.

Easily my favorite holiday.

Although I am not religious, I understand the meaning of Christmas in the way it was intended to. It's 'supposed' to be celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ (even though he was born in the summer, not winter). It's more of a relgious holiday for Christian/[and I believe]Catholic for praising the birth of Christ to the fullest. I suppose later on, when it was given a more 'festive', for lack of a better term, it was more revolved around the giving/receiving of gifts, and a little bit of celebrating the birth of Jesus. In the first case, I would be very indifferent to it, as I am not religious, therefore it'd be very irrelevant to me. In the latter outcome, it's more of social gatherings, which I'm not too proficient at, but it's something that's 'politically correct.' For the most part, I admire the thought and base of Christmas, even though neither are too appealing for me to enact at the fullest myself.
