Wow it's like someone brought all the rarity fans to one thread. But her talent is diamond finding so she needs to get them cut but maybe she spends it on food and event none of the ponies seem like they have an excessive amount if possessions

well it was me and a few friends (rarity fans) who thought of this thread but im sure we are missing a few rarity fans here and there

I can only imagine that a business like hers also takes up a large sum of the profit. Even then, she probably has more bits than most ponies.

I've always seen Rarity more of a pony who saves up a lot of bits, only carefully spending her money on things she really wants and needs. Though sometimes she might go on a shopping spree and buy whatever she feels like. That, and she also gives away quite a few things. Remember those dresses she made for the others? Yea, those kind of dresses are really expensive.

Btw, being snooty doesn't mean you're not generous. Generosity comes in many forms, not just giving money. A lot of people seem to forget this fact about Rarity.

Do you think perhaps she gives a part of her profit to charity? (Assuming such thing exist within the Pony Universe. I guess there would be, some pony out there could be starving)

Rarity most likely uses the money to restock her shop, she probably buys extra gems with it too and only goes gem hunting her self if they are for a commission that needs to be finished before they could be delivered (she'd also exhaust her own local supplies if she did this all the time).

She does however treat herself when she can. spas treatments, the occasional eat out at a fancier cafe. Rarity also on occasion buys expensive clothing from canterlot probably created by some fashionista who's work Rarity wishes to emulate She also probably buys over-expensive food for both herself and her cat, Opalessence.

She must make a decent profit considering she can do free commissions, she's even had to have the whole front rebuilt after cherileee bulldozed it.

Probably buying the jewels, gems, all the of that sort, they really aren't cheap and it does look like she needs a number of them throughout making all of them.

Other than that just the normal things, buying thing to stylize, all of that stuff.

Well, if gems are so easy to find that you can just dig them up, it makes them dirt kind-of-cheap, so perhaps she buys a bunch of gems in bulk? It does explain the chest of gems she has laying around. Well, good fabric is EXPENSIVE. I guess she also spends it on the spa...or she just stockpiles it somewhere in her house, you know, when the economy in Equestria hits the fan...and then goes down...but that wouldn't help her when there's an inflation...maybe she just bathes with it or something.
