Still, it's a twisting of the truth that Applejack obviously isn't comfortable doing. 

 

Applejack has an aversion to lying; even in The Last Roundup, she avoided answering questions more than inventing fibs, sweating and getting worked up about it all the while. This is a natural trait of hers, and she's a smart enough pony to treat it like a moral value rather than a compulsion.

 

Something like "BLURTING EVERYTHING OUT CUZ ITS THE TRUTH" would be uncharacteristically immature for Applejack.
