Princess Cadance Wallpaper (Also featuring Young Twilight Sparkle)

Why, hello there gents! My name is Arylett, and I am not a vector artist.

 

This is something I finished up recently (though I've had it sitting on my computer for quite some time and forgot about it over my busy months.) It's a wallpaper for my resolution specifically. Hence the whole "not a vector artist" part. You see, it doesn't resize 'cause it wasn't made with vectors. I actually hand-drew and painfully traced all the lines whilst obsessively straightening them out with my tablet! Because I am crazy.

 

So here you go, enjoy. It's not my best work, and I know, I know, the eyes on the ponies are a bit wonky. But I am somewhat proud of it.

Well overall its pretty good. Cadence's body seems a bit long And something about Cadence's facial expression or eyes is just a bit to odd to me. Kinda looks to evil really. 

 

Twilight's looks pretty good, would've been even better if she was like filly age personally i think, but still good.

 

I do very much like the background though, the vectors have a few issues, but overall they're pretty good.

 

Overall its a pretty good wallpaper i think, just has a few flaws i think here and there, but again i really like that background portion. Very nice design, If you where to change anything i'd just change the vectors.

Yeah, I did say that the eyes of Cadance were... off. Probably what's making the weird expression. It was made a few months ago, and I saw most of the errors. But I just wanted to complete it, so it took me too long. So I left them unfixed. Though I'll keep the long bodies in mind. That is a problem I have.

 

Secondly, Twilight IS a filly. Did I really draw it so badly that she... looks unfilly like?  I suppose I need more practice on those. It was my first filly I've drawn.

Its so pretty!

The only problem I have is that Cadence's other wing that is up, sort of.. bothers me. Its positioned a little to weird, and off. I think it would have been better for either both of the wings down, or up

Yeah, I understand that. It does look a bit... imbalanced. Although I wanted a wing up, but didn't want her pony tail to be blocked off to emphasize her as Young Cadance. It was the best compromise I could think of.

Thank you, you're too kind.   Though I've never heard of Tartarus Productions. (Sorry, I've got some catching up to do.) I'm glad to hear that I indirectly started it though!

 

But yes, you may use it. Anybody who wants to may use this wallpaper. It was for my own personal use, but I have no intention of using it at this point in time.

Yeah, sorry i didn't mean to be so harsh. I probaly could've said that without being so direct. So sorry about that.

 

Like i said, overall i like it, it has some issues, but yeah its still quite good, I really like the background design as i said.

 

And its not really that Twilight doesn't look like a filly, its just she looks a little older then i would've though she'd be in this, i guess technically she'd still be a filly, but i feel like she should be a little bit younger. I guess its more interpretation though. 

 

She doesn't look like a full out mare, shes kinda inbetween what she looks like in her filly flashbacks, and her in the present as a mare. I dunno exactly what you where going for so yeah. Sorry about that.

 

But again i like it overall . Sorry for being a bit harsh.
