Friend says I'm too old to watch kids cartoons

So me and my friend were talking about stuff and eventually he said "You don't watch Tosh.0 but you watch my little pony." He also said that adults shouldn't be watching kids cartoons.

What do you make of this, I personally find it stupid since cartoons used to not be stereotyped as just for kids especially since some cartoons have adult humor in them.

I checked out you're account and you're not a adult! XD

But i also have friends that dont understand why i watch it. BUT I DONT CARE

If no adults liked cartoons, how could they possibly know what makes a good cartoon and put them on the air in the first place?

 

Tell your friends they are wrong
Adults are kids to, just bigger
Because they were once kids
No one is ever to old for kid cartoons
Heck, I still watch Steamboat Willie and other Mickey Mouse stuff

 

My thoughts exactly. I think it's healthy to remain in touch with your inner child and not concern yourself so much with how much of a big boy or girl you are. Cartoons and fiction have a way of communicating with the human spirit that Tosh.0 doesn't, and even if they don't remember what first started those feelings that's what people are going to be glad for on their deathbed. Not fancy cars, not suits and ties, not what a prestigious position they held, and not that they watched Tosh.0.

Strange, my mom said the exact opposite as a joke once.

 

Anyways, there's an old saying, your never too old to enjoy what you like doing best, whether it's cartoons, toys, or childhood stuff, don't let others judge on what you like my friend.
