Am I the Only One Who Is Irritated by This Hoodie?

So I was at Hot Topic earlier today, and I say a Vinyl Scratch/DJ PON-3 hoodie. I was excited and was thinking about getting it, until I pulled it off the rack to get a closer look, at which point I saw one little detail...

It has no mane! Now, I know that Vinyl's mane could be tough to pull off, and I sincerely hope that I'm not coming off as bratty and spoiled. It's just that with the horn and ears already on there, the lack of a mane makes it seem like some weird creature.

Anybody else get what I'm saying, or is this all for naught?

I still think I may get it, but this just caught me off guard.

Design is good. But I agree. The missing mane sorta bothers me

Yeah it looks kinda weird as is because its a bunch of white on top. Having the mane in there would make it less awkward. Right now it looks like a white Teletubby hoodie.

It's shitty Hot Topic clothing made in Indonesia.  Still, you could always add a mane to it yourself; shouldn't be the most complex project around.  You could use felt, cut into strips (like with some of the pluhies out there) or any number of other fabrics/materials.

The mane is one of the best parts of Vinyl's design, it just isn't her without it.

It does look a bit odd. The manes that come on the sweatshirts normally are really dopey looking too though. I agree, add your own, and make it more awesome.

I was considering adding a mane (If I ever got this hoodie), but I hadn't really planned it out. Thanks for the idea!

Hot Topic's pony merch usually has something that's off :/ I recall seeing some of their shirts and the colors were really off. They charge quite a bit for their pony products too, and I think the buyers deserve better quality when it comes to show accuracy.

I don't think you should get it if you aren't satisfied with it. I've bought some merch before even though I noticed a flaw that bothered me, and I always kind of regretted it.

I am sorry it looks retarded with the horns and ears... If it was without those things the hoodie would be aweosme imo but the horn, and ears god it looks stupid with that. You'd pretty much would be asking to be laughed at!

Yes...the ears and horn are the most laughable part of wearing obvious MLP attire in public.

It just doesn't look right on a hoodie imo :P

This kinda of a hoodie I can dig.

That to me is a good example of a nice mlp hoodie.

that hood looks a little wrong.

I think I know what you mean.  More often than not, body parts moved to the lower stomach area tend not to be the eyes, and they frequently earn an "explicit" tag (among others) over at Ponibooru.

I agree, it wouldn't be that hard to create a mane.

On a side note, your avatar picture made me jump!

Trust me, you are not alone :P

If I could just find an acceptable mane thing...

Other than that, way ahead of ya :P

I just need to find me an eyelet punch and some eyelets... mostly money to pay for them with tbh, I know where to get them :P

Its going to be adjustable somewhat..

Only hard part tbh is the horn here is smaller than the default cloth one, sooo.. prob gonna slap a patch under it.

Already swapped the black elastic band for a white one so they don't stick out so much :)
