I'm going with the little guy in tonight's match.  :)  Yes, Discord is the overall best antagonist the Mane 6 have ever faced because he exposed the dark things that lie in the deep recesses of their own minds and hearts.  But since then, he hasn't done nearly as much to contribute to the overall story as Spike has. 

 

You know what I think is ironic?  Both characters have been given more than their fair share of comic relief roles.  :P

I voted for Discord, but I still need to dwell on it for two reasons.

 

1. I appreciate Spikes role in the series

2. I believe the winner of this match plays Rarity next. Rarity vs. Spike is almost a crime.

Although I prefer Discord and won't change my vote, I have to say that (IMNSHO) a Rarity v. Spike can only be a crime because it is too Awesome to be legal.
