After what was a long 24 hours, the first Mane 6 game is about to come to a close. It looks like Pinkie Pie managed to avenge her defeat to Applejack in the Unofficial March Madness final with a 116-99 victory. Things started rather beautifully for Applejack, but the Pinkie Pie fans began to come out in full force as they took control of this Quarterfinal game. The Pinkie Pie fans will now join the Legions of the Night in the semifinals, but will await to see who they will encounter next... will it be Rainbow Dash, or will it be Twilight Sparkle...? As for Applejack fans, they will be wondering what might have been as they walk out of the World Cup at the Quarterfinal stage like Fluttershy did after a narrow defeat to Princess Luna...

 

Tonight... we are now welcomed to the third of 4 Quarterfinal games. We are now headed back to the Element of Generosity and the Element of Chaos as they will both seek to face Princess Luna as their prize for a victory tonight. Both characters won their respective groups, and are looking to take that dominance further to become part of the coveted last four of the 2014 MLPF World Cup. Will Discord use his trickery and magic to send Rarity another Tom, or will Rarity be able to weave her way gracefully past Discord's tricks? Rarity vs Discord... next.
