Not sure, but it maybe YouTube's stupid integrated playlist feature. In fact, I was listening to some song on YouTube and RIGHT after it finished, I heard a very loud scream that startled me. There could be a way to disable it but I am too lazy. (And off-topic.. )

Not really. It depends on the relative popularity of the contestants. As here. If there were to be a mismatch in popularity, then, yes, you would expect the imbalance to become more apparent as you added more votes (increased your sample size.) Here, it just makes it clear that Twilight and Fluttershy are well matched in terms of popularity.

I think it was already said at OP for a very long time that the final would be 48 hours from whence the game began on July 11th. So the game will end tonight at 8:00 pm EST.

 

The reason the final's 48 hours instead of 24 is that there may be many people who didn't get a chance to vote for best pony even after 24 hours. This IS the final after all, and we need a larger sample size to truly determine champion. Furthermore, MLPF is a huge forum and even with the large vote turnout we have, there are still thousands who may have never placed their vote due to inactivity or holiday. 

 

Furthermore, voting tournaments in the past have made the final 48 hours long for this very reason and the added epicness that comes along with it. 

 

Now... Whoever is constantly changing their vote, please stop. Trolling equates spamming, and that is not welcome here.
