Dundermiffly 27 March 4, 2012 Share March 4, 2012 So, apparantly I was talking about ponies in my sleep last night. My boyfriend was telling me how goofy I was acting this morning, and he said "You were having a full conversation with me about that Rainbow Brite pony". At least he tried, right? What are some of the ridiculous things Non-Bronies have said to you when they try to talk ponies?
Nah 3,182 March 4, 2012 Share March 4, 2012 Ew gay! Most commonly used phrase by non-bronies.
Gingerpotato 889 March 4, 2012 Share March 4, 2012 Someone in my class who watched MLP and hated it said "You're only a brony so you can clop to the pictures". God, I had never laughed so hard, even my friend who is a non-brony was laughing at this guys statement. People try so hard to troll our community and it never works.
TomokoKuroki 1,707 March 4, 2012 Share March 4, 2012 (edited) A few of my gamer friends from WoW and Sc2 used to say "Dude, what is up with the horses" did I ever rant on how they are ponies, not horses that day XD. Kyreth 194 March 4, 2012 Share March 4, 2012 Well the gay comments get thrown around like there's no tomorrow. Yesterday I heard a friend say "It might be good but I'll never watch it because it goes against everything I stand for." It would seem MANLY MAN aint got no time for no ponies. I laughed my ass off when I heard someone say "Pastel coloured equine fetish." "Why do you want to watch frilly pink ponies hopping around?" DAMMIT THEY ARE NOT all FRILLY, THEY ARE NOT all PINK AND THEY DON'T all HOP! 1 I can't make signatures. Sooo... yeah

"my little pony is for faggets" "bronies have no life" "your joking right?" apprently i dont blame them...casue there are some poeple really liking the show way to much...and then next thing you know they wanna become girls!! HanPolo 151 March 4, 2012 Share March 4, 2012 A freind of mine thought he was being smart by describing us all as "Hippster fags" ( I really dont understand that at all). Then he tried to catagorise us all and said we were all just "Following a gay trend". Has he tried it? Ofcource he hasn't. Anyone who calls it 'gay' like him is just insecure about their sexuality. I can watch it and know that its not making me any more gayer.
Skar 324 March 4, 2012 Share March 4, 2012 Only one person I know hated on me about it... my dad. Always says "Bronies are faggots" or "You will never get me to think ponies are cool" This really all the talk between me and my dad now a days. I'll be honest, as for the show making you feminine that is definitely not true. Watching/liking the show sucks all the urge for cuteness/girly stuff right out of my system. I will say I've become more manly xD Sig made by Yours Truly. Want one of your own? PM Me! I've made some pretty awesome backgrounds. Osaka Bomb 39 March 4, 2012 Share March 4, 2012 Wow. I'm glad I never really had that said to me by my dad when I told him (and my mom) about the brony thing. Sorry to hear that, Skar. My dad said the brony thing, in response to the love and tolerance aspect, was like a philosophy or a way of life. He added, "We had something like that too, didn't we? They called us hippies, though." Which I thought was pretty funny. I've seen some...nasty comments from people around YouTube which I don't care to repeat here. But they were unpleasant. But, you know, those are trolls and that's kind of their thing. If it wasn't about bronies, it'd just be about something else.
Legendary Emerald 622 March 5, 2012 Share March 5, 2012 "I've never heard someone talk so animatedly about a pony fanfiction before." Champion RD92 8,658 March 5, 2012 Share March 5, 2012 I told one of my friends I'm a brony and he said "Bronies are stupid, why would you watch a show for little toddler girls" I tried to explain to him that it's a good show, but he wouldn't listen :/ It actually made me pretty angry, cause he was a really close friend of mine for a long time. Mare in the Moon 173 March 5, 2012 Share March 5, 2012 My best friend keeps telling me that he thinks there is something legitmently wrong with the show whenever I talk about it. To be honest, I do geek out on it a lot without any apparent ignition, carry a Twilight toy in my pocket occasionally, play Pony music at the gym, and watch the episodes on my iPod whenever we are not doing anything. I kinda miss his logic here, because I Geek out on things periodically all the time. He just isn't used to it being PONIES. I don't blame him, but he really hasn't given it a chance at all, so he just believes what he wants to believe. Doesn't hate though. His brother has seen it though, and he is really starting to like it, which has been getting my friend kinda curious. Finally committed my first name change. TURKEYS! Mare in the Moon 173 March 5, 2012 Share March 5, 2012 The worst I've gotten was "ponyfag" when I was trolling on Omegle. I've gotten "PonyFag" on CoD Black Ops when people see my Pinkie Pie Emblem (from my own team even http://mlpforums.com/public/style_emoticons/default/dry.png) I've been made fun of for talking about Ponies while playing Call of Duty Zombies before. I have to tolerate the haters...But I don't have to revive them... 2 Finally committed my first name change. TURKEYS!
SBaby 660 March 5, 2012 Share March 5, 2012 Probably the most memorable was when a friend of mine said something along the lines of, 'Those aren't ponies! They're the Powerpuff Girls cosplaying as ponies!'. He is now a Brony, if you didn't guess. A Winner Is You!!!

Raiyny Day 71 March 5, 2012 Share March 5, 2012 My anti-brony/pony friend always says how it's for little girls and such, tries to bring up arguments about how bronies shouldn't watch the show and makes fun of our community. She never wins any of the arguments, by the way. -Insert some funny line or quote here-
Guest March 5, 2012 Share March 5, 2012 I was playing TF2, my username is "themaskedbrony" and I came across someone with a username that went along the lines of mutilating ponies. We battled it out for nearly an hour and a half in game getting kills and me tolerating the sh&@t outta him while he kept just saying how "gay" it is and how I was a "faggot." I found it highly amusing and greatly enjoyed winning the last round. My brother watched 7 minutes of Dragonshy and decided he wouldn't watch anymore and now he just keeps telling me "why man, its just creepy" and when I ask him how it is creepy he says "because..." Literally, no joke that is his answer! Y u no give better answer bro!? D:<
Nothing392 61 March 5, 2012 Share March 5, 2012 My friend always says facepalm or kill it with fire when i bring ponies up. He wont even bother trying to argue about why its wrong though, he just doesnt accept it

Props for telling him dude, more confidence than me! I feel your pain though... I have a strong feeling this is exactly how things would go down if I mentioned being a brony to my non-brony friends Awesomeness = at least 20% Cooler.
