Isn't she supposed to have a crush on him? Or is Equestria Girls completely separate from the show itself? I just find it odd that Twilight would not pay any attention to the guy she has a crush on. Equestria Girls is separate from the show even with the movie being under the same name, Twilight probably forgot about everything from the movie, plus he made a background appearance in the episode. By giving him an appearance, it appeased the small number, and by giving him little of an actual existence in the episode... well, it SHOULD have made the other side not angry. It's quite simple really. Twilight didn't notice Gary-Stu-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named-But-Has-The-Stupidest-Mane-Ever because, at the exact moment that he appeared, the entire fandom collectively held its breath and simultaneously hundreds of thousands of bronies willed and prayed that she would refuse to acknowledge his existence. With the power of the brony prayer heard, God answered. On a more serious note, I'm pretty sure Meghan made it quite clear after EQG premiered that it would have no effect on the show whatsoever, to the extent that nothing that happened in it would even be mentioned or reminisced upon by anyone in the show, including, you guessed it, that phoned-in crush. But Twilight wasn't on screen the whole time, so there's no proof that she didn't notice him (particularly when he was making googly eyes in her general direction just before leaving), but no proof that she did, either. Which was the right way to do it, IMO. Nobody has reason to be distraught. I would have rather had him not make an appearance. He was a terrible character in EG and I hope his character doesn't make any speaking roles in the normal show. There are people I bummed into and I don't remember. You guys need to remember pony Flash and human Flash are 2 different people/ponies. According to EG Equestria and Canterlot high aren't exactly the same, notice that in EG some of the characters were OOC and other stuff that I'm not going to get into here, that help prove my point. The characters aren't exactly the same as they're pony counterparts. I highly doubt that pony flash plays guitar and also I don't think human flash is a guard. But at the end of EqG, when Twilight was back in the pony world, she bumped into him, and she blushed. She clearly has a crush on him, so why would she not even give him a second thought? So long as it's done well, they could make a canon love interest for anypony. Also possible that they just wanted to troll the fans in an episode with heavy trolling. Therefore it is possible that it did occur and that Twilight and Flash Sentry have met in the pony universe.
