books Diary of a wimpy kid series thoughts on it

All right here's one of the few book series I used to read for fun. The diary of a wimpy kid series. I read it in late elementary school and middle school and it was a fast read. So what are your thoughts on it? I think it's okay but hasn't aged the best.

The books have an interesting concept, so I think the series is good.

I've personally have read every one and watched each movie (I'm a big fan of the books)

My thoughts: they're awesome that's pretty much my response.

I buy them each year because, like a book on anti-gravity they're impossible to put down
