I saw the news that funko figures of Twilight and Trixe is announced! If you don't know. Funko made different figures of MLP. And currently this is one of the vinyl series collectibles. They made collectible figures of Derpy, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, and Vinyl Scratch and more. So what do you think

I already paid for, and pre-ordered my Twilight figure off of the Hot Topic website. These funko figures are awesome! I have a fluttershy one as well, and the quality is great.

As much as I like these figures and how well designed they are, I actually refuse to purchase jack from Funko since there isn't a Rarity one (or an AJ one, for that matter) anywhere to be found, but they load you down with stupid background characters like Bon Bon.

 

Bon Bon, but no Rarity or Applejack.

 

I find that wrong on far too many levels.

 

I want to buy these, but they just are so fuckin' stupid with the ponies they produce I refuse to.

 

Marketing schmarketing, don't tell me a Rarity figure wouldn't sell more than a fuggin' Bon Bon, Dr. Whooves, or Trixie figure.

Must agree with you that a Rarity figure would be better and it would sell way more then the background characters, Maybe we 

 

tell Funko if they could make a Rarity Figure. If they do I would be so happy.

I think that's rather dramatic. They said when they started making these their release plan was waves of two. When they do a main pony it would be released with a background rather than another main. And of course they started with the most popular, I mean they are only just now getting to Twilight. Stupid RD and Pinkie had to be the first mains out the door to make most profit, not to mention Derpy and Vinyl.

 

I'm very much looking forward to AJ and Rarity myself since they are best ponies in my book, but that's not stopping me from buying others I want. I pretty much knew they would be last of the mane 6 since they have always been the least liked, and very much ignored by Hasbro. Nothing better on the market if you ask me. Unless you have the bank to buy $200 custom sculptures from artists. The Funko ones are coming, just gotta give them time. They aren't going to stop short, some merch doesn't even include AJ or Rarity, Funko will.

 

I've currently got RD and Fluttershy, and I have several Trixie's on order (I'm not obsessed, I swear!). Not sure if I'll ever get Twi, or any of the others I'm missing, they're just not very high on my need list. AJ and Rarity will be, I'll have a small army of each probably.

Only complaint I have is that Twilight's wings look like they were slapped on at the last minute. The wings look much better on the Fluttershy and Rainbow figures. It wouldn't surprise me if they were making Twilight's promo before MMC and Hasbro forgot to tell them about it.

I preordered Trixie and I got the special edition one. I found Twilight Sparkle at my local Hot Topic, and I was very disappointed. The paint job was crap and she had a brown spot on her back. I returned her and got an EG shirt instead. I doubt I'll get another because she really didnt look that great. I have Fluttershy and she's the only pony I need

Yea, the QC leaves something to be desired. It varies though, so not all ponies are created equal. I've been lucky, my RD and Fluttershy look perfect. Out of the 3 Trixie's I got, one was perfect, and the other two only had minor paint imperfections that was easily remedied by gingerly scrapping off with a sharp knife. One of the Trixie's though, her cape hovered much higher off the ground in the back compared to the other two.

My Fluttershy was perfect! I preordered her last year when she came out. It seems the ones I preorder all look good but the ones I actually buy in the store are crap. I bought Lyra too. She looks pretty good.
