open A Pony Alone

[Solar Shadow 13]

It's midday in Ponyville the birds are singing and the smell of freshly baked cupcakes filled the air. Everypony was enjoying the beautiful day and why not enjoy this wonderful day for Hearts and Hooves day is just around the corner. 

 

SolarShadow Flies over the Everfree forest Searching for a town known as Ponyville. He has never been to Ponyville but he has heard of how friendly and caring everypony is that lives there. Hoping he could make new friends who won't fear him because of a unique occurrence that happens when he starts to fly at a fast speed. 

 

Finally after flying for hours and getting lost countless times he see's a town in the distance. "Could this be Ponyville" he wondered. Flying right to the edge of town he lands and looks at all the happy ponies. "Well Solar you can do this you can finally make some friends" he says to himself as he walks into town.

Thunder Dash was flying high above Ponyville out on his daily patrol. He then spotted a pony wandering into Ponyville. "Well, looks like this pony could use some help." Thunder stated as he descended, doing some loops on the way down. He landed close to the pony. "Hey, you look like you could use some help." Thunder said.

SolarShadow looks around to see if anyone else is standing by him then looks back with a shocked look. "Ar-Are you Talking to me? i'm not sure where i am really is this ponyville?" Asks solar as he takes a step back to get a better look at unknown pony.

"Yep! It's Ponyville alright. The name's Thunder Dash." Thunder stared extending a hoof out for a hoof bump. "It's a very nice town and you can be sure that by the end of the first day, you would've made at least ten new friends, including me." Thunder stated as he folded his wings.

 "So this is Ponyville what a nice place. Thank you Thunder-Dash my name is SolarShadow." Shadow lifted his hoof up to hoof bump Thunder. Still nervous Solar begins to take a few steps forward. "Thunder-Dash is everyone here as friendly as you are?"  he asks as he begins to worry about meeting everyone.

"Don't worry, everypony, I mean everypony is very friendly here." Thunder stated as he gathered some electricity and made a map of Ponyville appear from the blue. Thunder then unfolded it. "See, this is where we are, on the outskirts of Ponyville. We're close to the marketplace." Thunder explained.

Solar looks over the map as Thunder points out the marketplace. "I've been smelling cupcakes for sometime now that must be where it's coming from." Solars stumach grumbles. "Uh. Would you like to go get some food I've been flying for hours without anything to eat."

"Yeah, we could head on over to Ponyville Cafe if you want. It's not that far away from here." Thunder stated as he slowly began to walk forward. "They serve deserts as well, which is probably what you're smelling. Follow me. I'll show you the way." Thunder stated as he continued to walk forward.

@@Solar Shadow, "Yeah, we could head on over to Ponyville Cafe if you want. It's not that far away from here." Thunder stated as he slowly began to walk forward. "They serve deserts as well, which is probably what you're smelling. Follow me. I'll show you the way." Thunder stated as he continued to walk forward.

 

 

Solar follows Thunder as he heads towed the cafe. "Thanks for all the help Thunder-Dash where I'm from everyone's afraid of me so not very many ponies come up and talk to me." Says as he looks at all the ponies playing and enjoying the weather. "So what do they well at the cafe were going to?"

"Wait..." Thunder stopped as he turned to Solar. "Why are all the ponies afraid of you back at your place? Is it because of a hidden power you have, or is it some other reason?" Thunder Dash asked pondering on why ponies were afraid of Solar. He just couldn't get it.

@@Solar Shadow, "Wait..." Thunder stopped as he turned to Solar. "Why are all the ponies afraid of you back at your place? Is it because of a hidden power you have, or is it some other reason?" Thunder Dash asked pondering on why ponies were afraid of Solar. He just couldn't get it.

 

 

Solar stops and looks back at Thunder. "Well it's not really a secret power.. When I was younger i had a friend who would always be getting into trouble she would jump off cliffs and explore dark caves. One day she asked me to bring her up to the clouds because she wanted to see the world through my eyes and as a unicorn she couldn't fly. So I took her up there only after she learned how to use the spell to walk on clouds but her magic was weak and it only lasted for a few minutes and with out me noticing she fell through the clouds." Solar stop with a sad look on his face and then continues."as I was moving some clouds to make a bridge for her to cross I heard a scream and looked around she was no where is sight. I heard the scream get farther away and then noticed her falling. There's no way I could catch her unless I tried to fly as fast as I could so I took off going faster and faster trying to catch up. Just when I thought I wouldn't make it there was a black flash and I was flying faster then ever. After I caught her and we finally made it back the everyone was screaming and yelling about the sun being blacked out. I had no idea that it was me tell some years later. That at that time I made a black sonic boom the appears to black out the sun. And now whenever I try flying any faster then a light glide it happens. Sorry for the long explanation it's just easier to explain this way" solar says as he turns around with the sad look still on his face.

"Black sonic boom eh? That is pretty creepy, especially if it blacks out the sun. Come to think of it, I think you have a little bit of darkness in your heart. The thing is, because you are so innocent and good, you've kept it hidden. But when you fly fast, it seems as if it reveals itself." Thunder speculated as he started to walk slowly again.

Solar looks at Thunder then start to walk with him. "So you're not afraid of me?" Solar asks in an off tone "I normally don't stay in one place for to long because of that everyone starts to hate me or be afraid of me. When I got my cutie mark I was told it shows that I might be willing to help others and protect them but it comes at a cost or something like that it was some time ago"

"Hmmm, maybe...it's a curse, which must be broken." Thunder Dash speculated. "Because if you want to be good...at a cost, that it's gotta be a curse." Thunder Dash added. "At least he could keep the darkness under control, unlike some other ponies out there..." Thunder thought to himself.

"Oh, well, it's part of my ability. You see, when I was little, I was in middle of rescuing a lost pegasus from a storm. This was during flight camp. When I was trying to rescue the pegasus, I was struck by lightning. Ponies would think I was down right? Wrong! The strike actually reshaped my genetic code, allowing me to wield electricity for the rest of my life. Through this, I could also use magic within it." Thunder explained as he gathered some more electricity and made a cupcake appear. "Cupcake?" Thunder asked.

Midnight carried his luggage through the town. He curiously scanned the area. It was a happy place, with ponies playing outside, the delightful smell of pastries floating through the air, and plenty things to do.

 

"I'm going to like it here." Midnight thought to himself.

 

He got to the inn and rented a room for a small 10 bits.

 

"Wow, cheap place." He thought again.

 

Once he had all of his belongings secured, Midnight decided to go for a walk through the town to try to meet some new ponies. After all, he had two weeks here.

Solar looks at the cupcake with a surprised look on his face. "is that a real cupcake?" he asks as he takes it from Thunder then takes a bite out of it."WOW its a real cupcake! i'm still not sure how you got it to appear here but that's amazing!

 

Solar Happily eating the cupcake looks around and notices another pony exploring PonyVille. "Hey Thunder-Dash is he new here as well?" Solar walks up to Midnight Star. "hello my names SolarShadow and this is Thunder-Dash are you new here too?

Aurora saw all the commotion of the new comer,he blinked and tilted his head slightly before flying over at semi-fast speed,he stopped and slowly landed,he smiled slightly at him,the first thing he notices,is his very very unique eyes,they are both multi-colored,and his mane as well,bright green,blue,cyan,neon red,orange,all the colors of the Northern Lights,he smiled,his voice soft,"Hello,I'm Aurora Lights,I heard about your...erm...power...I have a few of my own...I can fly faster than light,and I can use telekinesis..."he said with a soft,kind smile,his glistening white coat looking ravishing this morning.

Lyrica stumbled across the lawn looking highly confused. Everypony was avoiding her as usual, but today she didn't notice. Today, her curly mane was a wild mess and her glasses were askew. Her nose was low to the ground, her tail up in the air as she tripped and stumbled through the streets.

 

"Hey, watch it!" some pony shouted. Lyrica didn't hear her; she kept searching. A white rat appeared beside her, sniffing the grass and squeaking wildly. 

 

"Oh, darn! Where is it? I know it flew out of my bag, I just know it!" she mumbled to herself. She straitened and looked around, baffled by the disappearance of her latest draft of chapter eleven. Frustrated, she sunk into the grass and huffed as the rat climbed to her shoulder.

 

"Squee?"

 

"Where is it, Joke?" She asked the rat. When he didn't respond, she sighed, "Things aren't turning out as well as I thought they'd be. Golly, when we moved here I thought juggling work and a social life would be a breeze! But if any pony gets their hoof on that chapter…They'd know I was 'Ls' for sure."

 

"Squee Squee!"

 

"That's not right…We've gotta keep looking."

 

She stood and began to walk towards a table outside the cafe. She sat alone and began rummaging through her bags again. 

 

"Where is-"

 

She looked up and saw the chapter underneath the table across from her. The problem was, it was occupied.

As Solar continues to walks to the Cafe with  Thunder and Aurora he Notices a Pony searching through her bag then looking under the table next to her."I wonder what shes so worried about?" he thought to himself. As he walks closer he notices she's looking at some paper under the occupied table. 

 

Solar walks up to the ponies at the table. "excuse me can i grab something really quickly?"  The ponies at the table gave Solar a weird look" Sure?" one of the ponies replied. Solar grabbed the paper from underneath the table and walked it over to Lyrica.

 

"Here this is yours right?" He asks with a smile on his face.as he hands over the papers.
